We wanted something different than what the O’Hare neighborhood offers so we took a ride down here based off of the current stars/reviews and they were not wrong!

We started with the gyoza and the tuna tartar…both told us right away this place isn’t kidding around. That tartar is phenomenal!!

Dinner for me was the Boston roll & the crunchy spicy tuna…both are a bit out of my norm, yet both were so damn delicious!

My husband had the Sushi B, one of his favorites and this blew him away! They even de-tailed his shrimp…it’s the little things, ya know.

Tim, Sonja, best of luck to you both! Everything was fantastic! We look forward to making the drive out again to you soon! All the best!!

I love this place. The ocean chevice is to die for! The other items on the menu we ordered were pretty good too. The owner served the food himself. He’s a pretty nice guy.

Wonderful service and food from the owner! Pictured you will find the Mexican roll that was packed with flavor. The Gyoza and Shrimp Tempura appetizers are also delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant! 5 stars across the board.

Absolute best little hidden gem sushi restaurant in town! You wouldn’t know it driving by, but the love and dedication Chef Tim and his lovely wife put into Sayuri Sushi, shines through with every bite! In house recipe sauces, perfectly cooked rice, and fish so fresh you’re swear it was just caught… This place is a diamond in a sea of rhinestones… And the service is top notch too! They are so friendly and welcoming, you feel like part of the family!
Absolutely will be visiting again!

This is a hidden gem that serves up some of the best sushi I have had. I have driven past this place numerous times and missed it. The pink neon sign is probably the only thing that’ll catch your eye if you’re passing by. But once you enter the premises, you’re greeted by a warm and cozy place and friendly faces. They have nice seating space next to the sushi bar which is where we decided to be. Enough said about appearances… I’m glad that I tried this place. The makis are fabulous. Tried the tsunami and the one with shitake mushrooms. It was a treat to the senses. Also, managed to gobble up the chef’s choice Nigiri and they too were delightful. Everything tasted fresh and the texture, as good as it can get. Also, the seaweed salad was another delicious addition to the mix of things we tried there. I can’t wait to be back there and try out the other delights in their menu.

Really great experience! I’ve ordered takeout before but dined in for the first time with a friend. The service and food were amazing. Some people are just hard working and meant for their job-I can tell the person behind the counter really cares about what he does. Bravo, we love it here.

Even for a really good establishment, living up to an excellent reputation becomes increasingly harder as they accumulate more reviews. At over 100 reviews of perfection, I had to check the place out. Located just west of Loyola campus in Rogers Park, this tiny place was exceptional! Just scanning the menu, nothing stood out as being special but once chicken wings and salmon carpaccio arrived, it was quite clear they were well presented and incredibly flavorful. Strongly recommended.

Tim the chef is extremely nice and friendly. I came a little after 11:30 and they closed at 12 and I placed an order to go. Staff was very kind and friendly. Some places wouldn’t even let you in the door. I ordered the spider roll and salmon poke. The spider roll was great. The salmon was so tender, the meat melts in your mouth, one of the best poke bowls I’ve had. Would definitely come back.
