Best Mexican Food in Portales! It would rank in my top 5 in the state. Their food is amazing. Their wait staff are awesome and they host a clean environment. The food is authentic and freshly made. Don’t take my word for it. Stop in and give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

We order from here a lot. Today we had a slight mess up on our order, and the manager showed the absolute highest professionalism. She went above and beyond. They set the example for all other restaurants to follow. Try the chile relleno plate with jalapeno cream sauce. It is by far the best thing on any menu in town. You will not be disappointed.

My mother passed away 14 years ago and I haven’t seen food that looked like she served it to me. Grant it, I live in Oklahoma and there aren’t many New Mexico styled restaurants here.
However, I grew up in NM and K&H Cocinas food reminded me of my mother’s love of feeding her “SON”. My mom judged other people’s food by their beans and rice. When my plate came out, I knew we had made the right decision to stop and try them out.

Place is beautiful food was great!! Service was awful, I was 1 out of 5 tables, recieved no salsa and was checked on once. Won’t be coming back sadly.
