I was scrolling on TikTok when a creator made mention of E&J Seafood and made the decision to give them a try. I was looking for an alternative to my usual fish spot and lemme tell ya, I am glad that I decided to give them a try. The service was great, the wait was to be expected, the fish selction was awesome (they have orange roughy for those that like/love orange roughy) I ordered the Family pack with shrimp and oysters and potolato salad and mac and cheese for the sides. It fed 3 adults with ease and came with decent sized cups of hot sauce and tarter sauce. I only ordered red snapper but will try the orange roughy next time. My order was taken be a nice young lady that repeated my order back and made sure that it was correct. I waited a short time and decided to visit the neighboring shops while doing so. Shortly after visiting the shops my order was ready. Made it home and dug in. The fish was nicely fried and had a nice texture to it. The sides were good especially the potato salad. Mac and cheese was just okay but worked. Hot sauce was your typical Louisiana style and the tarter sauce was delicious. I haven’t had a good tarter sauce since I was a kid. E&J changed that and I ain’t sure what they did to it but I hope that they don’t change it. I had an overall great experience dining with E&J Seafood. Everyone liked the food and it was so quiet as we all ate. My grandma said that it meant that the food was good when that happens. I mean not 1 word was spoke. Give them a try and keep in mind that your experience will be different than mine but an experience none the less. Happy dining and Thanks again E&J.

E&J Seafood just became my favorite carry-out. Their specials are SPECIAL, and my food was fried PERFECTLY. I had the 2pc Fish and 6pc Shrimp + Side for just 12!!! I’ll be trying their $8 chicken and waffles next. ❤️❤️❤️

I ate here today and definitely without a doubt no questions asked this is one of the best fried seafood places in LA prices are very good food is absolutely delicious perfect seasoning on everything, and the staff was extremely Pleasant and welcoming and very informing.

Nestled within Inglewood alongside other black owned businesses. Nothing better than good soul food!!! Call in your order for pick up ..no dine. Great service and delicious food! Only 15 mins from LAX. The soul food is cooked to order. They prepared my meal from scratch within 25 mins. If they are busy expected wait time can be 1hr. Best to CALL IN ORDERS. NO DINE IN. OH MY GOODNESS. I love this place SO MUCH! I usually go here after going to the gym (on occasion that is;) and I buy the Fried Oyster Dinner! It is great they have alot of choices for sides. I got the mac and cheese today because they were out of rice and beans and the mac and cheese was the bomb! Also their tarter sauce is suuuuuuper great! I hope everyone in the area far and wide come and check out this sea food gem next to the gym!
