The noise level wasn’t bad in the main dining area—except for the three guys next to us, so we got a table in the bar area, which was quiet even though it was packed also. The hostess said the bar area was always quieter than the main dining area.
The menu and wine list is extensive. Our server Alex suggested a nice Sauvignon blanc that was wonderful. He was very friendly, super accommodating of food allergies and preferences, and very attentive.
The meatball appetizer in Marinara sauce had two of the largest meatballs we’ve seen in an appetizer and was delicious. We enjoyed it together with complimentary warm French bread. The pan seared halibut for dinner was expertly prepared and a large portion. The chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and the raspberry sorbet were terrific desserts. The espresso was good as was the mint tea.
Even though the restaurant was packed we were waited on promptly, our orders were not delayed and were spaced apart perfectly, and the food was hot and nicely served.
Portions are generous, and while this restaurant is not inexpensive, it was worth the money for a wonderful dining experience. We definitely will return the next time we vacation in the area and definitely recommend this restaurant for a terrific fine dining experience.
We started with the Oysters on the Half Shell and Lobster Escargot, both fresh and full of flavor. The Shrimp Theresa and Blackened Scallops were cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. The Brussels Sprouts and Lobster Mac and Cheese were rich and delicious, and the fresh pasta and petite filet rounded out the meal beautifully.
For drinks, the Espresso Martini was smooth and perfectly balanced, while the Peanut Butter Cup Martini and Chocolate Martini were dessert in a glass. To finish, the Chocolate Brownie was warm, rich, and decadent.
The service was outstanding with a friendly team that paid attention to every detail. You can tell they truly care about creating a memorable dining experience.
Highly recommend Malio’s Beach House. One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time.
We started with the PEI oysters—an absolute must if you’re an oyster lover. For our entrée, we shared the aged ribeye cooked Pittsburgh style. It had a fantastic char and was cooked beautifully. The Princess Pasta was to die for; I was genuinely sad when there wasn’t any left!
Overall, a wonderful experience. We’re so happy we found this restaurant and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
Malio’s Beach House is the perfect spot for any occasion—whether you’re celebrating a birthday, enjoying a romantic night out, or having dinner with friends. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the tone—it’s dimly lit, elegant, and cozy, perfectly blending that relaxed beach vibe with a touch of upscale sophistication.
The beautiful bar in the back adds to the charm, and although the dining room is small, it’s intimate, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The food was absolutely excellent—beautifully cooked and full of flavor. Everyone at our table was beyond satisfied, both with the dishes and the impeccable service.
If you’re looking for a place that’s a little more upscale but still warm and inviting, Malio’s Beach House is a must-visit. A wonderful experience from start to finish!
Came here to celebrate his proposal to me. Our waiter was always on top of things. Constantly checked on us, always close by. Kept our glasses full & very pleasant attitude.
Our meals were delicious. My only complaint was that it was pricey, but I guess that’s the price you may for a Michelin restaurant; which is well deserved.
The espresso martini was chef’s kiss (and exactly what you need when turning the big 4-0). Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. It was elevated without being pretentious.
The atmosphere was modern and classy, but still had that “special occasion” vibe, making it the perfect spot for celebrating a milestone. Malio’s exceeded my expectations in every way, and I left full, happy, and already plotting my next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable dinner experience!
In short….AWESOME FOOD & SERVICE
Truly the highest class and best fine dining on the beaches.
A most have…The Filet. If you like Pittsburgh Rare like I do with a nice crispy exterior and rare interior…They have nailed it every time.
Seafood…Mussels app is a must. Then I had the seafood pasta shown in my pictures. Wonderful surprise.
The bread even is addictive and home made.
Cocktails are expensive until you realize they are all double pours and the martinis are huge.
The service is wonderful in any part of the restaurant.
MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS…..
I cannot stress this one enough to set expectations. You cannot even just walk in and grab a drink if it is all booked.
They do not allow people piling up at the bar five deep reaching through for drinks…Thank God!
Week nights are easier and more likely to grab a table or spot at the bar.
Weekends…Forget about it. Reserve a spot.
All and all we love that the beaches finally have a great place to dine.
Phenomenal from start to finish!
I could not recommend this place more, our server’s name was David, just ask for him. He’s the only David there. The experience was unbelievable. The food was over the top and the Christmas curated drinks were fabulous! This restaurant should be Michelin rated!! Best meal I’ve ever had!!!
