I’m posting this review for the owners of Waverley Cafe. Training. Train your staff. Yesterday I came in, sat down and didn’t notice the sign that said to order at the counter. First of all, horrible policy for a small Cafe. That aside. I sat there for about 10 minutes. No one came over to greet me or inform me that I needed to order at the counter. I had never been in this place before and it is my fault for not seeing the sign, granted. But I had several workers look at me and I made eye contact so it should have been obvious that I was sitting there waiting for something. Bad business. So I left and went 2 doors down and had a great lunch at your competitor. You lost my business. I had a great meal at your competitors restaurant. Train your staff friend. 1 customer loss no big deal. We’ll here I am taking the time to critique your business. You might have great food but there is more to a restaurant than food. Your competitor has a greeter by the door, they seat you, full service and friendly. Customer service should be #1 in the SERVICE INDUSTRY. I have been in the customer service business 40 years. I am not a casual customer. Good service brings results. If you don’t care about results then disregard my review. For readers if this review, if you want a great meal and great customer service go 2 doors down from Waverley Cafe to Best Little Kitchen. The fries are worth the trip. Hand made fresh real potatoes not frozen from Sysco. Have a nice day.

The sign on their front door proudly exclaims, “Come in, we’re Awesome!” We chuckled, went in and had a magnificent luncheon! So I’m happy to report that they are, in fact, awesome!
My friends and I enjoyed three different sandwiches, The Cafe Club, Toasted Cheese and a Classic BLT. The sandwiches were sized just right and full of fresh and tasty ingredients!
Their coffee and tea were delicious as well.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel comfortable and welcomed.
I really appreciated that while the cafe was busy (lunch time) it wasn’t overly noisy as so many places are. We could hear ourselves talk while enjoying our meal.

Stopped in for lunch with some of the family. The food was excellent again. Plentiful servings so my nephew and I brought half of ours home. It really is a cute little cozy type place to visit. Lots of local patrons so you know it is good. Didn’t have room for dessert dad to say because they looked incredible. You can also get breakfast here or just pop in for coffee etc. Sad that the books were gone, but other memorabilia were still there and they have gift items for purchase as well. Worth the visit.

Such a cute little shop in the heart of waverly! Their blended coffee flavor options are so delicious! Their prices are a little steep though and I wish they were open later for after work folks.

Even though their governor told them to be safe during Covid, they offered carry out. The waitress was so sweet, she accommodated us well with communication with us who are lip readers and we ordered in person outdoors.
Thankfully we found a perfect spot for our lunch just right across the street.

Is there supposed to be a specific day we can leave a rating? I have noticed on your previous snotty replies you don’t care How your business is being run by rude employees Also didn’t know hair was on the menu, this is why I only left one star rating with no comment but I see you left a smart ass comment shows the type of business you run
