I cannot recommend this place because the food is tasteless and not high quality. I ordered combo with brown rice ($2 more), orange chicken, and sesame chicken. I have never tasted Chinese food like this. That is not a compliment. It was like a weird attempt to be healthy with Chinese food. I’m sure there are tastier ways. It also tastes like the chicken was cooked by itself and the sauce and veggies were added later. The flavors clash instead of blending. The presentation is good and the process was fast. But just know the cost was $21.50 on the board, the brown rice was $2 more and the total came out to $31. I bit pricey. The lady at the front was nice and talked me through the fact that I could not get the veggies and tofu in the combo meal. Sad. I do wish I had tried somewhere different. But I learned and hopefully you do too before you spend your money.

I’m pretty sure I got ripped off, and if I didn’t, this is straight up price-gouging, even for airport food. This orange chicken, rice, and 2 potstickers was $27.99. I thought the “combo” was supposed to be $21, which even that is expensive. But I feel like I got charged for the potstickers too, which should’ve come with the combo. And then when I reached for a water, she said she didn’t charge me for one. “It doesn’t come with the combo???” “No.” I put the water back. Who know how much it would’ve been. The food was ok. A little lower than Panda Express. Definitely not worth almost $30.

Awful experience. I opened up the container of food, only to find a hair right on top of my food. Never going to Big Bowl again.

17.++ dollars is not worth it
One of the worker lady looks like a bartender, she was just laying her elbows T the pick up counter has her headphones on, played on her phone, doesn’t care about how awkward when customer standing there and waiting for the order.
My conclusion is not recommended!

If I could give it 0 zeros stars I would. I so so regret not checking the reviews before getting the food. I spent $55 plus tax on two bowl to receive barely any food and food that is bland. Please get something else, it’s probably cheaper and tastes better as well.

I had Orange Chicken and Sesame Chicken with rice! Both chicken flavours were perfectly prepared. I was happy to have been given a choice to do both chicken with just about 2 dollars top up. I enjoyed my chicken!

For 18 dollars (plus tip?!) the Kung Pao Chicken had no spice and the only significant flavor was salt. Inedible, really.

I ate at Big Bowl at O’Hare Airport (ORD) and my experience was absolutely appalling.
First, the attitude of a female Asian staff member was genuinely horrendous. Her manner was so unpleasant that it honestly made me feel sick to my stomach every time I thought about it while eating. I sincerely question if she is the owner, as her behavior suggests a complete disregard for customer service. As a fellow Asian person, I felt an uncomfortable level of disrespect and what I can only describe as a form of racial discrimination.
To make matters worse, the food was not even good. If the food had been delicious, I might have just dismissed her as a “grumpy but skilled chef” (like a stereotype of an old-school popular restaurant owner), but the flavor was mediocre at best.
This individual’s conduct, combined with the poor-quality meal, single-handedly soured my perception of dining in Chicago. Avoid this place if you value being treated with basic human decency or if you want to eat palatable food.

$16.95 ($18.94 after tax) for a one entree bowl that typically would cost about half in a similar places not at an airport location. Food taste was just okay. Portion was reasonable. But if there are other similar restaurants in the same terminal, I would try other place first. It was quick service though. Kung Pao was SPICY!
