Love living in a small town usually don’t have any issues, but with pizza places like this especially when the employee hangs up on you!
I couldn’t understand her on the phone simply questioning the fact that I paid $34 for a large pepperoni pizza and some broccoli bites, According to her the pizza was $19.50.. so that makes the 10 broccoli bites $15.. well they aren’t even handmade they come out of a damn box.
This place is a joke and they will never get my money again please save yourself and your family don’t invest in this company go elsewhere.

I live out of state and placed a delivery order from the Cottage for friends. The staff was kind and helpful, the process was easy, and delivery was right on time. My friends said the food—lasagna, salad, bread, and cookies—was delicious and perfect for their family gathering. Thank you.

I travel a lot, and I always get pizza at least once when I go. I have had good and I have had bad, this is definitely the former. The crust is nice and chewy, as it should. The toppings were just right not overloaded and not skimpy. This was a really good pizza. I also ordered the wings. The skin was crispy, very nice. I would definitely recommend a stop here. The only issue I had was I ordered a piece of carrot cake and didn’t get a fork (I was staying in a hotel so that was a little problem). This was the only issue I had. Delivery was in time and everything was hot.

Stopped in for an mid evening snack with my husband after a long day. The ice cream was delicious and the service was friendly! Located on Main St. In downtown Ayer, The Cottage gives all the good feels of a small town ice creamery. The space is spacious yet feels cozy. They also serve pizza and other food options as well. They even have a seating outside for you to take in the sights and sounds of the main drag whil enjoying the delicious ice cream. Hubby and I will definitely be back!

Tonight I ordered an eggplant parm sub to be delivered. When it got here 30 minutes after the time they said it was going to be delivered, the eggplant parm had no cheese. I called and the girl on the phone told me the cheese was on the bottom. I told her there was no cheese, and said I could take a picture for her if she wanted. She said she made it and knows it has cheese. She said there are cameras in the kitchen!! When I said there is definitely no cheese on this she hung up on me!!! What the hell is that?? I would have added photos to this review but I already have added my own cheese and am warming it in the oven right now.
So the owner actually just called me after posting this review. He yelled at me for posting it and said he had a picture of my sub with cheese. I stated again that it had no cheese. He said I didn’t post a photo because it actually have cheese. So even though I did add my own cheese, I had added it to the top. The girl on the phone had said it was on the bottom. So here is the photo of the bottom of my sub. No cheese. It’s not like I order food and then decide to write bad reviews about it! I’ve only ever written two reviews about anything ever and it has been about this restaurant. What terrible customer service, and even the owner calling me to yell at me and hang up on me!! Unbelievable.

I so wish I had visited this establishment before now.
The service is amazing, the food is so good, I am very picky about chicken, and it was perfection in my salad. My kids ate every single bite of their food, and the ice cream and shakes are amazing!
I really wish I had visited this downtown Ayer gem sooner!!!

Tried this place randomly with a few friends. We all enjoyed the food. The gentleman working behind the counter was very kind and I found his food recommendations to be very honest and accurate.
Theres (currently?) no indoor seating but there were benches outside in the shade from the building and we enjoyed it
