At Nocella’s, we believe Italian food should feel like coming home—even if it surprises you along the way. Inspired by generations of family recipes and brought to life by Chef Joseph Nocella, our kitchen balances old-world tradition with fresh perspective. From the first bite to the last sip of wine, we serve more than food—we serve a feeling.
Even our artisan pizzas—crafted with fresh mozzarella, slow-roasted toppings, and hand-stretched dough—reflect that same attention to detail. Ingredients are seasonal, flavors are layered, and nothing is done halfway.

While my family has been getting pizza from Nocella’s Restaurant in Haddonfield since they opened, and we love their salmon salad, I’m finally leaving a review because we just ate their Thanksgiving take-out dinners and we are so grateful for such a delicious homemade meal without the cooking & clean up.
The stuffing had chunks of carrot & celery in it. It tasted like someone’s mom had spent hours prepping and cooking it. We have done Wholefoods Thanksgiving catered meals for the last 3 years and the stuffing is horrible. Nocella’s stuffing from scratch was the best stuffing we’ve ever had!
The turkey was moist and thinly shaved. The mashed potatoes were basic and the green beans rounded out the meal.
To be able to walk from our home to pick up this feast was a treat!
I hope this was successful. We saw their Instagram ads and the price was cheaper than going out and even cooking ourselves, but we weren’t sure what to expect from an Italian restaurant. Nocella’s delivered.
Aside from a great lunch or dinner spot in Haddonfield, Nocella’s can now add Thanksgiving!

Love Nocella’s takeout, but try dining in at their restaurant. As always, food is always better at the source. They continue to make one of the area’s best pizzas (IMO). Try any of their dishes with the burrata. So glad we have them in our neighborhood.

What an amazing family run restaurant of top caliber! My family (party of 8) was welcomed into this restaurant with an early dinner reservation. The seating area is intimate and cozy. The quality of the food was top notch. The homemade bread was delicious and warm & paired with the perfect olive oil/balsamic mixture. The figi apple and fig salad was fresh and well balanced. The grilled Spanish octopus was also cooked well (and not tough!). The pasta though wow. Perfectly al dente, delicious, and paired so well with the sauce. Our table ordered 6 dishes but my favorites were the short rib gnocchi and the pappardelle norcina. I will be having dreams of this pasta. We definitely will be back! So glad we discovered this gem!

Pasta dishes were delicious, we tried the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce, spaghetti and crab gravy and cavatelli. All homemade and you can taste the difference, best pasta in the area. Chicken scarpiello was great as well, different Italian dishes than you usually find.

I’ve been coming to Nocella’s for years, and it’s always been one of my favorite spots. The food is consistently delicious.
I had a small issue with my take out meal last night, which is something that almost never happens here. The owner Joe went above and beyond to make up for the error and truly saved the night.
Highly recommend, not just for the great food, but for the wonderful people behind it.

We’ve been ordering from Nocella’s for years now. We absolutely love it. This afternoon we ordered the short rib sandwich and the Sicilian sandwich. The Sicilian sandwich was completely doused in ricotta, I’m talking an absolutely insane amount of ricotta cheese. And since the ricotta was drenched over every ingredient inside the sandwich, it was not salvageable or edible. Not to mention, there’s ALSO mozzarella on the sandwich! I love me some extra cheese but this was just disgusting. It was like cream cheese slathered over every piece of cutlet. This is our first bad experience with Nocella’s, but I can’t help but say something since only 1 of our 2 sandwiches were edible.

Tip for anyone placing an order for a family meal for the next day. Placing the order online unfortunately does not guarantee your order. If they sell out of your item, like they did for me, they will just text you a cancellation 20 minutes before you scheduled your pick up. In my case it was for a family dinner so it was seriously disappointing as I ordered a full day before. The food is great but I will never order via their online option again. If you want assurance you need to call.

We’ve been regulars at Nocella’s for a long time and, as always, they delivered an excellent experience. While we had a rare, one-off visit recently that didn’t reflect their usual standards, this time was exactly what we’ve come to expect, high-quality food and great service. Highly recommended

I almost don’t want to write this review. I want to keep the secret to myself…
The Saturday specials are such an incredible deal at such high quality that I may not order anywhere else. I mean, LOOK AT THE $1 CHICKEN CUTLETS! Incredible!
The grandma pie? Prob the best in the area.
