We had the most enjoyable night at Gnarly’s! For those familiar with Golden, Gnarly’s is located where the old Foss restaurant was.
All the staff are friendly and engaging. An impressive collection of 80s & 90s toys & memorabilia scattered throughout. A bright, cheerful atmosphere with some old school video games.
The comedy show was intimate and hilarious!
A variety of non alcoholic concoctions along with a full bar is appreciated by us non-drinkers.
Reasonable prices makes this a fantastic entertainment venue. Highly recommended & we will see y’all again!

Came here randomly and the environment is awesome! Just walking around and a show was about to start and we decided why not go and check it out. The show we went to go see was the first of its kind so you could see the few mistakes but that’s ok. Makes you realize the people on stage are human too! It was a mixture of comedy, burlesque, contortionist, and random talk show with a bucket band. Yeah very odd but the wife really enjoyed. The drinks here re really good too! You do have to wait a while to get them but its worth the wait. I had the banana and pineapple 32 oz drink and ended up ordering another. Very good. All the video games up stairs are free so while you wait for the show and or your drink being made you have time to kill and not just standing around. The concessions is really cool too with snacks from different countries and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall I would recommend checking out a show here. It was different but was a fun night with the wife.

We loved the location in Golden, parking was accessible within short distance of the venue. The we were greeted by the owner and manager of the place, very friendly and had genuine conversation and interactions with tgem, and tge bar staff, which one was tge wife of the owner, and the other was new to Gnarly’s. Made some delicious drinks for us before tge comedy show on Friday Jan 23. The show was entertaining, and with the concoction that we were on made us laugh the whole show, which was close to 2 hrs.Great value and experience for $20 each. The collections of toys from my childhood had us looking and remembering the fun stuff we grew up with ourselves. I know they provide different types of shows from comedy, burlesque, rocky horror, and all types of fun at different time of the year. I had learned about this venue a while ago, but this was our first of many visits. When we come down from Winter Park, we will definitely at least stop in for a drink and a chat before we do anything else we planned. Special thanks to Seth, who welcomed us in and spent genuine time, and the owner, who i apologize for forgetting his name, but super friendly and welcoming.. Cheers to I our Gnarly’s experience!

It is an awesome place to watch comedy. Very friendly staff. All kinds of drinks at very reasonable prices. The lobby has an incredible look, it’s decorated with an 80s look super cool plus they have retro arcade games on free play so you can use them while you wait for the show. It is only steps away from the main street. Very recommended for a night of good entertainment in Golden.

This is one of the coolest venues in Denver, period. Whether you’re Gen X, Gen Y, or Gen Z, there is a connection with the vibe. Honestly, if you were a child and played with toys or played video games, you’ll connect. They offer a variety of alcoholic libations; nothing is on tap if that matters… what I love is the vast selection of snacks and drinks from around the world.
Currently, they feature both comedy shows and magic shows.
What I love about the Tuesday night magic shows is how they’re always different because the performers rotate. And just like every variety show, you’ll love most of what you see. I love that we (I’m on stage some shows) are not discouraged from performing something new, so you might see a magic trick that’s never been performed in public.
As a huge fan of comedy, I can get stuck on repeat since tickets are so affordable. They have such a huge, diverse lineup of comedians that you can pick any Friday night, and you can’t miss. I mean, what’s better than a last-minute date night with comedy, maybe sushi-flavored potato chips from Japan, and a Pepsi that has a white paper label on it because the ingredients on the can aren’t in English.

This place is so awesome I was so grateful to make it opening night where I was greeted so happily by the owners walking and a great snack selection awesome free arcades a cool bar with grape beverages non-alcoholic which I love cuz I don’t drink but it’ll be cool for them to get the bar up and going for others. The layout of toys to check out in the museum is so cool how they painted the place is phenomenal they definitely put a lot of work into the theater The seats were hella comfy The sound was great the environment was A++++ the workers as well I will definitely be back over and over again

As an entertainer, I am writing this from a different perspective. I do believe that it important to review new venues from all facets.
Gnarly’s is excellent. From kind and accommodating staff and ownership to perfectly a functional facility, it totally works!
The cherry on top is the authentic and Gnarly 80s theme and 1980s collectible toy museum in the brilliantly decorated lobby and concessions area.
I will return to be in the audience and to be in the spotlight. This is an easy 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you’re looking for a fun kid friendly, activity you gotta come here for mocktails/cocktails/beverages! Free arcade games while you have a beverage in hand. The atmosphere is 80’s arcade style but clean with fun decor/‘memorabilia.

This is 100% the jolt of life that Golden has needed for a long, long time. We’ve been shopping at the Gnarly Toybox in Lakewood as long as they’ve been open. When Brandon told us that he was opening a theater space in Golden, we were skeptical, but BOY did they pull it off. The theming is on point, the drink menu is awesome, and who doesn’t love looking at vintage toys and playing arcade games while they wait for a show? We saw a comedian/magician when we went recently and he was absolutely hilarious.
Can’t wait to go again!
