Amazing from start to finish! Food was perfect and so flavorful and cooked to perfection! Service was fast and friendly! Will definitely be back. We didn’t have reservations and we got lucky they had a cancellation so now we know to make a reservation

Overall, it was a lovely experience. Some dishes can be a bit tricky and might not be worth the effort, but I believe the prices are quite fair.

Small place with great food. All the wine you could ever want.
I make a point to go here every time I’m in the area.

One of the BEST little hidden gems we’ve found. Its one of those places where you want to tell everyone about, but at the same time you dont because you love how quaint it is …. started with the Caprice salad and by far the best ive had their house wine selections were incredible! Start to finish this place is one for the books !

Very small place seating probably no more than 50 ppl. Casual dining environment with nice touch of ambiance and decor. Started off with the caprese salad and shrimp empanada. Both delicious and very well seasoned. Entrees we ordered the tomahawk and margarita pizza. Steak cooked very nicely but I felt needed a bit more season…but definitely a great price for 80$. The pizza…best I’ve had…hands down. The dough soft pillowy texture but just the perfect amount of chewiness. To finished off we got the passion fruit cheesecake and lemon cake. Lemon cake was very delicious and light. However the cheesecake…it’s not real cheesecake but one of those cheaply marshmallow fluff In a jar recipe which I despise. It’s like all the all places and so called high quality bakeries are doing these type of cheap quality cheesecake recipe and it’s now very pleasing at all. Overall I would definitely recommend and visit again. Service was very attentive as well.

Everything was absolutely delicious! We ordered the agelio e olio, pizza, bife al pobre, and more steak. Every single dish was perfection. Everything was seasoned beautifully. They understand what medium rare and rare steak means. Wonderful service. Catalina was the best waitress. She helped us order the best bottle of Malbec and the best dishes on the menu. Very happy with our visit!

Loved this place. It was a little sanctuary for my northern eastern, adventurous soul. Small but perfect. Food has always been phenomenal and the wine selection is ideal. Moved away from McAllen awhile ago but will forever recommend this place to visitors and current residents.

Restaurants like Wine Cow are the secret-beating-heart of McAllen and among the best international dining you can dream of as visitor to McAllen. Impeccably designed and furnished, Wine Cow is a true gem in the McAllen crown, for its thoughtful presentation of food, fresh produce and excellent wine. Whilst small; this is a restaurant that doesn’t need to prove itself; rather, locals and visitors alike will come away longing to return. Intimately small; with few seats, so even more cherished, Wine Cow harks back with a modern twist, to the age of intimate, personal Argentine steak houses that you see throughout the world, offering the freshest meats, alongside a reliable and heady fest of sides. If your desire is to eat well and eat fresh, then Wine Cow will be everything you’re looking for and more. It’s truly impressive and we would recommend it to anyone who cherishes that style of cooking and eating experience, because it really is that, an exceptional experience in a great part of town, run by terrific, committed people who know good food.

I used to go here all the time, but will never go again. The food is good, but they kicked us out after an hour and a half for an alleged reservation. Very unprofessional. The service is always bad also. You’d think for a small place, the servers would be more attentive.
