Walking in first off, it feels so homie!!! Second, the staff absolutely down to earth good folks. Like talking to family (the family you like). Third food is absolutely amazing. Highly highly recommended the hamburger steak and the slaw wow just too good. Thankyall for making me and my boy at home. Yall are amazing. We live 3 hrs away definitely worth to make another trip up here.

A little roadside diner with a couple of sweet little old ladies serving up a classic diner menu. My BLT was exactly what I ordered, light mayo with a side onion rings. My wife’s hot roast beef sandwich was exactly what she wanted. Hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes covered in gravy. Hot fresh and surprisingly fast. And the price was palatable as well. We both got out for about $20 with tip. It was a fun stop on our way home from visiting The Waltons Museum.

The breakfast was quite a feast, that was the first time I had biscuits with sausage gravy it did not disappoint. Coffee was good, atmosphere was timeless and the service was hospitable. Highly recommend this place if your on the highway and your craving breakfast or dinner.

About 1:30PM on September 10 I stopped at Ann’s as I frequently do when I travel North. The waitress was pleasant, took our food and drink order and shortly thereafter brought our food. That was where the service ended. She never checked back to see if all was okay nor did she check to see if we wanted anything else. I could hear her speaking with other customers but mostly she and the cook were talking and laughing. I finally had to walk to the kitchen door to order desert for my son.
Was quite disappointed with this visit. The service is usually good and the older women there are very pleasant. They make you feel welcome.

Was in the area after a camping trip with my family. Based on reviews, decided to give this place a try. At approximately 2 pm. on a Thursday. About 3 tables taken.
The service was not very friendly. Our waitress was wearing a t-shirt for her favorite candidate, and while we were not wearing any political or socially motivated clothing, we were certain that our server had decided we didn’t support her party…or she is just rude.
I tried to solicit some friendly banter, she was not having it.
Ordered a chicken sandwich, wasn’t even asked what I wanted on it. I had to ask if they offered let, tom, etc. Didn’t get the onions i asked for. The bun was a low cost version that crumbled b4 I finished.
Oh, and there were bugs crawling on the window at our table. The men’s bathroom needed repair work and the sink water was cold (they had a male chef; i guess he washes his hands w cold water…or maybe it had been awhile since potty time.
