From the moment my call was answered to check availability, I was met with a genuinely friendly and accommodating experience. Despite how busy they were, the team thoughtfully placed me on a waiting list so my table would be ready upon arrival, which set the tone for the rest of the visit.

I was fortunate to be served by Ashly, who truly elevated the entire experience. Her impeccable customer service is the reason for this review. She was attentive, kind, and professional, and her humility and warmth shone through regardless of how busy the restaurant was.

Every dish was absolutely delicious, fresh, and served promptly. The shrimp and grits were outstanding complete with an impressive cheese pull that I was so disappointed I didn’t capture on camera. The beignets were perfectly executed: crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and incredibly fresh. Even the gluten-free pancakes were phenomenal and genuinely unforgettable.

I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and felt compelled to express how proud he should be of what he has built. This restaurant delivers not only excellent food, but a true dining experience. The care taken in selecting a team that treats guests like family is evident, and it’s what will keep customers coming back

Overpriced for mediocre food.
The monterey omelet was watery, kitchen forgot our side of bacon, the bacon slices were the thinnest I’ve every seen for $6.
I would not order this again.
Shrimp & grits were decent, big portion, too much grits for the size of the sauce. It was bland after mixing so you have to add the pepper sauce or hot sauce. Not worth the hype.
I didn’t know the beignets were biscuits not true beignets. Too thick.
They had generous sugar portion and the jam was very sweet, so that made them better. If you like crunchy beignets it’s good, I don’t like it personally.
Scott the bartender was great! Very personable and attentive. Sat at a high top.

I was so excited to see that a location was FINALLY near me only to be disappointed. The food was subpar, the service was lackluster- everything was ALL wrong.

We told the waiter our potatoes were cold, he brings back more cold potatoes, smh.

This location is NOTHING like the Winter Park location. I’m so disappointed.

I’m going to go ahead and say to avoid this place until they work out their issues. I get that it’s new and there are probably some issues. But the wait was long because they have one bus boy who can’t keep up with the tables. We don’t mind waiting at all and did. We ordered drinks at the bar while we waited. The drinks were delicious. The spiked coffees and Bloody Mary were perfect. There were plenty of tables open but no one to clean them.

When we finally sat down, we waited 20 min before our server came to greet us. People who were sat after us got greeted, got drinks, and got food before we did. My kid ordered a grilled cheese which came with a pinch of cheese half melted. My kid and husbands food came out ten minutes before mine. So there’s obviously some issues in the kitchen when our food came out cold and at different times. The service was absolutely horrendous. I always try to give servers grace but this was just more than bad. I think our server had a hard time managing the amount of tables she had which was three or four. I ordered the shrimp and grits which were just ok. The flavor just wasn’t there.

The only redeeming quality right now about this place is the bartender and the drinks. I think the guy working the bar was Scott. Go see him. We’ve been to other locations and haven’t had a problem.

We joined the online waitlist while on our way, which showed an estimated wait of 20–30 minutes. We arrived about 10 minutes later and were told we’d need to wait an additional 30–35 minutes before being seated. I’m not sure where the disconnect occurred, but the original wait estimate ended up being inaccurate, and the total wait was longer than expected.
The location has plenty of parking, along with a small outdoor dining area and a cornhole section, which is a nice touch if you’re looking to pass the time while waiting to be seated.
This is a newer location, so they may still be working out some operational kinks. When we were seated, we weren’t given silverware. We also ordered decaf coffee and asked for honey, which didn’t arrive until we asked a second time. We had to request silverware again once our food was brought out.
For food, we ordered a side of Biscuits and Gravy , a Skinny Omelette with fruit, and Shrimp and Grits . The biscuits and gravy and the shrimp and grits were delicious, but the Skinny Omelette was under-seasoned.
We’ll likely wait a few months for things to smooth out before returning to give them another try.

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. Service was slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. For a breakfast spot, not having creamer was surprising. Our food took around 40 minutes, and the quality didn’t make the wait worthwhile. The biscuits and gravy were overly salty, and the sausage was burnt. I understand they are newly opened, so hopefully these issues are addressed moving forward.

We sat at the bar which significantly shortened our wait. Scott was working behind the bar and was amazing! It was our first visit and his recommendations were spot on! The bourbon pancakes were outrageously delicious!! Breakfast dessert for sure! We will be back!

We had a great brunch at Another Broken Egg Cafe, with a couple of standout moments.

The kids French toast was the quiet hero of the table. My daughter loved it, and it is exactly what a kids breakfast should be: simple, comforting, and done well.

My shrimp and grits hit the mark. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the flavor was strong. The dish did lean a bit oily, but not in a way that wrecked it. More like, “grab a napkin and keep going.” The bacon side was excellent, crisp and satisfying.

We also ordered the beignets (four count). Important note: these are more biscuit style than classic light, airy beignets. If that is what you want, adjust expectations. The payoff is the honey marmalade, which is genuinely great and pulls the whole bite together.

Dark roast coffee was very good, and the service was warm and attentive throughout.

The room is nice looking, but it is a small space, so when it is full it gets noisy. Bonus points for parents: the men’s restroom has a pull down changing station.

Four stars, and an easy recommendation if you want a lively brunch with food that delivers.

I was looking for a new breakfast place to try and found this place. Boy am I glad I didn’t read some of the other reviews before I went. I woukd have missed out. I walked in around 1130. I was immediately seated. The server was taking my order almost immediately. I ordered the Grand Mimosa, the Vegie Delight Omelet w/ Loaded Bacon Gouda Grits and it was absolutely delicious.
