The story of La Marsa Mediterranean Cuisine began in 2006 when three friends—Adel, Fadhel, and Mo—came together with a shared vision: to bring healthy, delicious Mediterranean food to the Southeast Michigan community. Their commitment to offering authentic flavors in a welcoming atmosphere of Mediterranean hospitality has helped La Marsa grow into one of the most beloved local dining destinations.
Today, La Marsa is proud to have expanded to 15 locations across Southeast Michigan, offering customers a wide range of fresh, flavorful Mediterranean dishes. From grilled kebabs and hummus to fresh salads and baklava, we serve meals made with the highest quality ingredients and a dedication to taste and authenticity.
Kebabs, shawarma, falafel & other Mediterranean favorites served in relaxed environs.

I was tasked with planning our holiday party for work. I was given a few other suggestions for lunch but for the price, the food quality, and with options for everyone, I chose La Marsa. The food was great as always and all the staff loved it. I preordered our lunches and everything was ready in time. No pictures because we were too busy eating!

I ordered $135 dollars of food for my family Christmas Day. I ordered extra garlic. I also tipped 15% bringing my total to $155. I should have checked my food before I left, but I was rushed. I get to my family’s house almost 30 miles from this restaurant and realize I have no garlic at all. Not only did I not receive the garlic I should normally get, I didn’t get the garlic I paid for either. No garlic, at all. I am curious what I paid extra for and why I tipped? Never again. The food was mediocre at best, and seemed like it had been sitting for awhile. I recommend you check your order before you leave this place. I did not enjoy this experience whatsoever and I wish anyone luck who puts faith in this restaurant to make your holiday meal.

Usually delicious perfect and fresh so I had my Cancer Support grouper over for Christmas Eve supper and what a shock. The worst was the wonderful bone half a chicken usually we get it half dark half white it was black charred, stringy difficult to chew and one of our members started to choke. I hope this is just a temporary issue. It’s just not like them, but it makes it hard to come back. Beware.

We had an amazing family dinner, so much food for like 6 hungry people. It was so delicious with hummus, tahini, garlic butter, baba ganoush, shawarma, kebobs, bay leafs, and their fresh warm bread is really amazing.

For the first time I’m highly disappointed in Lamarsa. I ordered a large Greek salad and the lettuce was wilted, way too much feta, tomato soggy and only 3 small beets added. You pay to much and didn’t like the customer service I received at all. Disappointed and won’t return and I’ve been a long time.

The food here is some of the best in the area. Far better than just about all the other Lebanese restaurants I have tried, and I have tried many. The hummus and fresh pita is excellent. Even the olive oil that they use is high quality. I have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

Ordered lunch from La Marsa Mediterranean Cuisine through DoorDash, and everything was fantastic. I had the shish tawook with a garden salad and a salmon filet, and The Mr. went with the chicken and mushroom sauté. The meals were flavorful, fresh, and arrived hot with thoughtful packaging.
Portions were generous, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. A quick note for gluten-free folks: they include pita bread with meals, which isn’t gluten-free, but it comes in a separate bag. That works perfectly for us—Grandma loves the bread, so it doesn’t go to waste!
A solid option for flavorful Mediterranean food, with great delivery reliability. Highly recommend.

On Oct 30. My friends and I took a trip to Michigan and we decided to try something different for dinner. After scouring Google we opted to try out La Marsa. And am I glad that we did! The feel and decor was wonderful. After looking over the menu I noticed there was an authentic Egyptian dish and that settled it! Ive ALWAYS wanted to visit Egypt and to get rhe chance to eat a dish from there was amazing to me. Im usually picky about what I eat, but I tried things I’d have otherwise never eaten. And ALL of the food was wonderful. The service was amazing. All in all this dinner was one of mu favorite parts of the trip. Wish I lived closer to be a repeat visitor.

The last two times this places has been terrible. The lentil soup had orange grease on top of it, the pita bread was extremely thick and undercooked, and the baba ghanooj was bitter. The salad was fine but the tomatoes were mushy. Very disappointing.
