Visiting from Australia and for my partner’s birthday, we booked a table at Gennaro’s hoping for a memorable dinner, and Gennaro’s exceeded all expectations. The service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and providing excellent recommendations from the menu. The cocktails and wine were divine, perfectly complementing the exquisite food that followed. Each dish was beautifully presented as well as tasted divine. The highlight was undoubtedly the beef fillet which was cooked to absolute perfection, it was faultless and melted in our mouths. It wasn’t just the food that made the night so special- the staff surprised us with additional treats to celebrate my partner’s birthday, adding a personal touch that made the evening truly unforgettable. Thank you, Gennaro’s, for an experience that we will cherish and for making my partner’s birthday dinner so extraordinary! Would recommend to anyone visiting Capri!

Ok this was the best surprise. We did not stay at the hotel, but ended up eating at this restaurant 3 times during our one week visit. The food was spectacular (order the leak appetizer), great place to sit. and Francesco is the best waiter ever. He truly makes this restaurant 5 star in my books. Do yourself a favour and ask for him when you go there. He gives a next level dining experience.

Slow food in Italy is one thing…this is something else. At least 5 couples got so fed up of being ignored that they left. Over 20mins just to ask if we wanted something. Beautiful setting and can watch the world go by, but it’s a good job!

Excellent food! It has been the most delicate and complete high-end dining on our trip so far. Had the scampi risotto and the polpo with nduja. Both excellent. Although it is still baffling why you have to ask a waiter to bring you menus and then a drinks menu after that…
