I’m not one for writing reviews I’ve been to the Custard Cottage twice this year since it’s had new owners. Twice the new owner has walked past me and not said hello nor how are you doing. being a new business owner in town you think she would be a little more friendly at least come out and see how you’re doing especially if she’s standing right in front of you. The food pretty good the ice cream was pretty good. The girl that took my order was extremely nice.. My biggest thing is if you’re a new business owner and you see new faces maybe you should interact with them a little bit more I understand sometimes people get busy. But she wasn’t that busy on her phone worrying about a package that had been delivered to her house. Interaction with customers brings them back especially the ones that they have not seen before or does not know. Not just with people she knows. Because you know they’re gonna come back and spend money people you don’t know first impression says it all. I’ll go back just because I like the ice cream for the conversation and take my grandson there because that’s what I’ve done with him for the 9 years .

Yummy. Every time I travel back to Gouverneur, I make sure I go here at least twice. Can beat it!! It’s been a lot of years now, last time was in 2011 and we went there four times.

This is such a classic landmark whenever I’m going through on route 11. The prices are amazing and the workers are nice. The soft serve is amazing!
