I really liked Masa. The food is good and the service was also really good. My only negatives are in comparison to Kasumi, which is the same owners.

The selections is better at Kasumi. The atmosphere is better at Kasumi. Even the food itself is better at Kasumi.

The weekend price at Masa is the same as the everyday price at Kasumi. The weekend price at Masa gets you unlimited Sashimi, which is included in the everyday price at Kasumi. Due to this, it boggles my mind just how much better the selection is at Kasumi. There is just so much more to choose from at Kasumi. Desserts at Kasumi, but not Masa? It would feel like a ripoff now going back to Masa. The only thing that Masa has going for it over Kasumi is the parking?

The Fire Cracker and the Crab Rangoon alone are head and shoulders better at Kasumi. Sigh.

Service was okay except you literally circle what you want on a piece of paper and they still got our order wrong. Twice.

Atmosphere was great. Super quiet and very clean as there was only one other table the whole time we were there.

Food is abysmal. We came 2-3 times in the last year and it was great. This time was just awful. We are frequent sushi eaters but this was the most bland and unsatisfying plates. We had 1 good roll and the calamari that we enjoyed. Everything else was bland or inedible.

The “spicy salmon” roll was for one not spicy (and I’m a wimp). It was bland, had no flavor other than gross, and looked like some kind of wet cat food in rice.

Super unimpressed with the change in management and will never return. What I was really looking forward to for lunch on my birthday ended up with nothing but disappointed and upset that I had to pay for any of the garbage we were served.

I loved my first experience here. I wish there were more options on the sushi menu. But, the 3 rolls I ate all by myself were delicious…

We came here on Sept. 4 and tried their new all you can eat lunch menu. It was delicious and well worth the $17 price. I loved the tonkotsu ramen which was perfectly made, not too salty which is often how I find them at other places. I would go back just to have this ramen. The appetizers and sushi were also delicious. I should’ve gotten a picture of the ramen, but I did get a picture of the cute boat they brought some of our sushi out on. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Very good sushi! It was fresh and tasty. I went with the 3 roll lunch combo, and the rolls were a bit smaller than expected. But, they do have an all you can eat option which seems like would be the way to go. I’ll definitely be back.

The staffs were fine. She just seemed really not happy with us all the time….But the food…was not good, to be honest. I’ve been to many sushi restaurants, including some in Omaha & Lincoln. I was really excited for this one, too. Anyway, the biggest thing I hate about my experience was that they have lots of snow crabs on their menu. My partner love snow crab so we ordered a bunch of snow crab related dishes. And it turns out that all of them were imitation crab aka fake crab. I didn’t expect it to be like this because it’s 31 dollars per person and all of the other sushi restaurants I’ve been to tells customers that it’s imitation crab ON THE MENU. Also, 80% of their sushi included crab….The sashimi wasn’t that good, either. Plus all of the eel sauce was SO SALTY. I am not trying to be mean. These are my real thoughts after spending 70+ dollars on this meal. I am just really sad and disappointed.

The menu changes often, some changes are good and some not so good. They got rid of desert for the all you can eat option but added all you can eat sashimi. Service staff are good and food comes fast!

Pros:
-Cheap for what you can get.
-Staff is great.
-Usually a calm environment

Cons:
‐It is all you can eat, so some of the items feel small, or not quite up to the quality of other restaurants.
-Most of their sushi is fried.
-Be careful what you order because if you don’t like it and waste it you have to pay extra.

Overall:
Masa is a great place to enjoy dinner. The staff is very friendly and quick. I have been multiple times now and have never been disappointed. Keeping in mind that it is all you can eat, it may not be the best sushi and appetizers you will ever have, but I am not disappointed with the quality.
