Just ate at Polly’s for the first time (I live on the opposite side of town – down this way for work). It was wonderful. The staff was great – smiles everywhere, the service was fast and friendly. I had the Chicken Fried Steak, it was delicious. Cooked perfectly, and the gravy topped it off perfectly. I truly enjoyed my visit, and I will be back again the next time I’m in Fenton.

Polly’s Diner is a wonderful little gem in Fenton. The food is like home cooking, service is fast and servers are super friendly! Very reasonable prices, too. Can’t say enough good things about Polly’s! :O)

We tried for the first time today. We will return and try different items.

When I walked in and saw different items, I really wanted to try because it looked delicious. And the aroma was amazing when you first opened the doors.

We waiting for a bit for our food, to be fair the place was packed! The wait wasn’t excessive.

I ordered a skillet. Can’t say I’ll order it again.

I didn’t like the cheese sauce, and there was a lot of it. The cheese overpowered the flavors of everything. My eggs were ordered scrambled well. When asked if a “little” brown was OK, I agreed to a “little” brown. (See photo)

My husband really enjoyed his B&G.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

Menu has plenty of breakfast and lunch options. (See photos)

Again, we will go again. Everything looked delicious!

Parking is less than desirable, especially for people with limited abilities

Polly’s Diner is a fantastic spot for a great meal! The food was delicious, with large portions at very reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and attentive—we were seated right away, got our drinks quickly, and didn’t have to wait long for our food. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Overall, a great dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

We ordered The Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and Nutella Waffle, at 9:30am. (They serve breakfast and lunch all day)

We ate here on April the 2nd. My niece came into town and loves to try local places. I quickly suggested this place because I saw a lot of decent reviews, it was close, and I also wanted to try this place. While I don’t have unreasonable expectations, I am big on customer service and notice the small things, so take my honest review for what it is. My niece ordered the pancakes with bacon. She said they did taste pretty good and gave it a 7.5 out of 10 rating. She appreciated that they were cooked on a clean grill, but they weren’t as fluffy as she had hoped. She also had 3 glasses of OJ which were a decent size. Our friend Kenny, ordered 3 eggs over easy, hashbrowns, sausage patties, and toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the sausage was not bad, and the toast was not very toasted. It looked like warm white bread, barely hot enough to melt the butter. He did not rate his meal but did say he would not want to eat there again. He felt he could cook the same thing at home and get actual toast. LOL, My niece had asked if the biscuits were made in-house or frozen and warmed. We were told they came in frozen and are then cooked in-house. I decided to give them a try with gravy, I also ordered scrambled eggs with American cheese. I got 1 biscuit drowning in gravy which would have been perfect for 2 biscuits,  and the eggs with way too much cheese. The eggs were cooked perfectly but there was just too much cheese. The gravy was also premade and the biscuit was overcooked in the microwave. Do you know how any bread that has been warmed in a microwave too long gets too hard of a section that you can’t even cut with a knife? Well, that is how my biscuit was. Let’s talk about the service. Our server was Jasmine. She seemed nice enough but wasn’t the best server. As soon as our breakfast was brought to the table the receipt was under a plate. I do not care for a server who constantly checks in, I do expect 2 visits to a table after bringing the food. one time to make sure everything is fine and then to see if we wanted anything else. Had she stopped to ask that question she would have also sold us 3 pieces of cheesecake slices and 2 pieces of carrot cake. We figured we would just order it when we went to pay. There were several people by the display case that had some delicious-looking desserts and my niece and I were loudly talking about what we wanted while also trying to get someone’s attention. Not one person asked if we needed help and we walked away with no desserts for later. The place is small but somehow they have decent seating in the place. We went at a busy time so it was kind of loud, we had to speak loudly to be heard,  Parking is a joke, which made it hard for my friend who has a bad hip to get to the building. based on surrounding businesses I don’t see how the parking can change.

I went to Polly’s for the first time today, second for the wife. The food was absolutely delicious. Our server was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food is amazing. I had the ham steak with eggs, hash browns, and toast. My wife had the pancakes, eggs, and bacon. She loves the pancakes and crispy bacon. The bacon originally brought out wasn’t crispy but she fixed it in minutes and we ended up with 2 bonus strips (which I thoroughly enjoyed. My 2 biggest highlights were the hot sauce and ham steak. The ham steak was juicy, thick, and cut very easily. This was the best ham steak I’ve had in a very very long time. The hot sauce is vinegar based with a chipotle flavor. Not spicy, maybe comparable to a mild buffalo sauce. The overall flavor and texture of the peppers was amazing. I loved this hot sauce on the eggs, ham, and hashbrowns. Yes, there may be some issues as this small business gathers its legs, but the quality of food, price, and staff puts this diner at the top of the class.

Looking for a local place to have breakfast or lunch? Try Polly’s Diner.

With a fresh and clean appearance, this restaurant recently opened in the Old Towne area of Fenton.

Upon entering, we were greeted and seated promptly.

The menu offered a variety of breakfast and lunch options. We selected the Breakfast Combo 10oz New York Strip with three eggs, hashbrowns, and toast.

Our food was cooked to order and tasted amazing! The hashbrowns were golden brown with just the right amount of crispy edges. The over-easy eggs were perfect. The steaks were moist and juicy.

Portions were very generous. It was the best value that we’ve experienced in dining for quite awhile.

The steak had a little gristle, but for the price, I won’t complain. A steak knife would have been nice to have had. The toast had cooled by the time it reached the table.

Our waitress kept our drinks filled and checked on us frequently. The service was friendly and outstanding!

The parking appears limited, but there is more parking available behind the buildings.

Also, there is a service fee to pay with a credit card. Bring your cash!

We look forward to returning.
