Just had the best experience here! The food is incredible but the atmosphere and friendliness of the place is unparalleled. JR made us feel instantly welcomed and stuffed us with food. Everything was amazing and he topped it off with an incredible cobbler. Definitely a highlight of the trip to texas and if we’re ever back again we’ll stop by! In the meantime we will wear our Chute 4 shirts and tell everyone about this hidden gem.

Great food and attention to detail! All the little things here make this a great stop for Texas BBQ. I had the two meat combo of sausage and brisket and I was very impressed by the overall quality and flavor of everything! The bark on the brisket is competition perfect and the flavor gives the big names around here some serious competition. The potato salad is on point, very few places use the the correct potatoes and these guys knock it out of the park!

The service…..although I could tell the girl behind the counter was mildly SPECIAL. The service was excellent. Kyla ( the special girl ) was wonderful and very enthusiastic about the food she was serving. JR was very good at making us feel right at home with his delicious meals.

This place is so good I almost don’t wanna tell you about it. Not fancy, just great BBQ. Some of the best BBQ chicken I’ve ever had. Brisket was amazing. Sausage was pretty good. The sauce is awesome. And if you have a chance to get some of the cobbler, you better do it.

We visited here last week and searched for the best hole in the wall location we could find. Chute 4 is what came up. And we are super satisfied with our decision! The Brisket was fantastic! The service was great. Our Kids ate free. The owner was friendly and talked bbq with us and about his time in service in the US Army. We look forward to our return to Waco one day to visit this restaurant!
