I’ve visited this site in its many restaurant incarnations over 30 years. This one is the best yet. Food was great. I had the asada burrito, we had one kid burger, shrimp fajitas and carne fajitas. Everyone was happy. The salsa was so flavorful but a little too spicy for us, so the server brought us a milder version that was also delicious. The real slam dunk was the service. Kind and attentive staff. My kid loved the bean dip, so the server just kept it coming for him. Will 100% be returning.

First time visiting at the Manson location. The service with Evelyn was fantastic. OMG!!! The Mar Y Tierra and the Chicken fajitas were phenomenal. Every thing on the plate was divine. We loved the salsa so much we bought two large to go containers of it. We highly recommend coming to Fonda Oaxaquena to friends and family.

The service was attentive. The food was slightly subpar, hard to say as I ordered something a bit unorthodox. But the meat was a bit chewy and hard. The drink prices were not listed. $75 for two dishes and one drink seems a bit pricey (after tip). I hope this new business does well

It was our first time visiting. We had 12 hungry people and at first we thought it was going to be a great experience because we were seated right away. The service was terrible! We asked several times for drinks, silverware, refills, etc. My kids wanted traditional cheese dip but they didn’t have any. Okay, no problem. We ordered chicken fajitas. They were so spicy like they dumped the seasoning on it as if they didn’t care.My daughter asked for grilled chicken quesadillas. She was never told she can’t have grilled chicken versus shredded chicken. We asked about it again and they said no. No customer service at all! We spent over $500 and I wish we would have gone to another restaurant. I would NEVER go back nor would I recommend it.

What a unique restaurant! With origins in Oaxaca they bring amazing flavors to your meal. The special was flavorful and enough for 2! Oaxaca is on the Pacific coast is southern Mexico and their shrimp tacos – delicious. Many more seafood options. We’ll be back!

We popped in for tacos and a drink after a day in the lake and it was wonderful! Friendly and quick service and the food was wonderful! The homemade salsa is incredibly good. We had the al pastor and el carbon tacos. Both flavorful and perfect topping additions. The grilled jalapeño was a fantastic addition!
