On Christmas Day I ordered chicken wings, I asked them to be cooked extra extra crispy- they were lacking the crispness. I went again today and order dinner, I explained that the wings were not cooked to my liking i gave the situation grace as they were sooo busy yesterday. To my surprise when I went back in to grab my dinner tonight I learned that they remade me my chicken wings and THEY were extra crispy and yummy. Thank you for taking the time to listen and correct the mistake. Good place to order food from. The restaurant is clean, staff are kind, food is wonderful. Thanks again for correcting my order.

It has become our family’s Christmas tradition to have Chinese for dinner on Christmas Day. It is a great option after cooking all week and China Cafe has been our go-to location. Over the years, more and more people seem to be thinking the same thing. Last night, they were slammed! The waiting room was packed with folks waiting to get their orders. We had a large order so we knew we would likely have to wait a bit. The lady who was working front of house was calm and peaceful… even when some Grinchy customers ran out of patience and kindness. We got home to find that not only was our order 100% correct, but the food was hot and absolutely delicious, like always. Hats off to this crew for making our Christmas dinner a success another year and for doing it with grace and joy. Highly recommend this location for good, consistent, and quality food and service.

Over the past several months I have got take out from this place numerous times. It has been consistently very good. Probably the best around. At least in Kernersville. They have the old style fried rice which is delicious. Crab Rangoon’s are also great. Service is fast and friendly.

I have been coming to this establishment for many years.I’ve lived very close to them.So this is often a restaurant that me and my family frequent. Today, after getting off of work, I went and I made a purchase the same thing that i’ve always gotten when I got home me and my family sat down to eat and realized that the food tastes drastically different.It was horrible.Nothing like it’s been in the past, to the extent that we assumed that it was actually the wrong type of food. Not thinking anything of it, I called the company to let them know the food didn’t taste quite right today. I explained that I would like it if they made my chicken over as i’m used to what they’ve prepared previously. They put me on hold for fifteen minutes. then the chef came back and told me that he would make the food, but he needed my food back.I’ll explain that.I was home and that was a real inconvenience. But my husband was in the area. With apprehension, he said, okay, and decided that he would prepare my food again and allow my husband to pick it up. Two minutes later, his wife, i’m assuming, called me back and told me that I need to bring the food back and I can come get my money back. then she continued to say, I can’t have free food. Insinuating that my attempt was to manipulate them to get a free order of chicken. I Explained that the chef had already agreed to replace my chicken, and she said, no.You need to come here and give me the food back. I have never been so inconvenienced.I have never been so mistreated.I will never return to this restaurant and I suggest that you stay far far away.

You never asked if i would prefer a return or there was no attempt to repair or reference to policy. You simply told me to bring the food back and get my $. There was no explanation of options or any attempt to resolve the issue. I’m sharing my experience so others are aware, and I will continue to be honest about this interaction with my colleagues and family.

Food: I got the orange chicken which was okay but everything that accompanied it seemed very cheap and basic. In my picture you can see I got 3 TINY pieces of broccoli, and the rice just has a giant piece of onion on it, with nothing else really in it. Very tasteless rice.
Service: was good when the cashier had time for us, seems like the day we went was super busy or they need more people in the back.
Atmosphere: this place does not look good at all, wish I took a picture. They used to have a dining room for sit down eating but the room is sectioned off with plastic and cardboard, looks very apocalyptic.

Poor quality. Asked for sesame chicken was given orange chicken with sesame seeds and the sauce that goes with sesame chicken. Food was brought December-26-2025

This food is absolutely disgusting. They got 2 out of 4 of our orders wrong and the chicken literally tasted like rubber. I’m almost sure it wasn’t actual chicken. We will never eat here again. $68 down the drain plus a 15% tip we left prior to knowing how gross the food would be.

My wife and I had supper together here. The food was excellent, I got sweet and sour chicken and she got black pepper chicken. Everything tasted great and the staff was super sweet.
