We were greeted right away when we walked in, which made us feel welcome from the start. Our server was fantastic—very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit.
My husband ordered the buffalo chicken mac and cheese and said it was the best he’s ever had! The chicken was incredibly tender and packed with flavor.
Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Horrible service Don’t even deserve a star , but I had to give them one to do this! Food was greasy as ever , fries hard , bread on Philly burnt . Charged me two different prices assuming Bri tipped herself . Dipping sauce for salad dressing , Sheila is very unprofessional took over 4 days to get in touch with what they call a manager I spent 90 dollars for her to say I can give u a 20 dollar gift card which is a slap in the face, Blaming me for there negligence in customer service . Bulicheks please do better . Not to mention they have two cooks that go Facebook live with no gloves making everybody’s food!!!!! Now Watch those cameras Sheila

My wife and I discovered a fantastic hidden gem in downtown CR this morning: The Keg.
This small, chill bar (only 10 tables!) has been serving breakfast for just four months, and wow! Sheila greeted us warmly, setting the perfect relaxed Saturday morning vibe. The crowd was a friendly, over-40 group.
The food? Magnificent. My chicken and waffles were outstanding – perfectly crispy chicken and delicious waffles. My wife’s corned beef and hash, with freshly shredded beef and perfect hash browns, was equally amazing. Everything tasted homemade. Sheila’s service was also top-notch.
The Keg is a true hidden gem. We should protect this place at all costs! If you want a delicious, relaxed breakfast in downtown CR, go!

Classic bar feel with a kick ass breakfast. We tried to stop at a different location and the breakfast flag caught our eye. Dynamite omelet they made to my liking and an added sausage gravy to make great!!!!! The cook came out to ensure quality and taste were to our liking. Fresh ingredients and enjoyed!!!

This is a nice quite little pub where you are surrounded by good normal people! Clean restroom soap us included. Well stocked on adult beverages as well as soft drinks. Coffee? Tea? Just ask and you got it. There is a nice pergola seating area outside to enjoy a peaceful day. Thumbs up!

Briane was an exceptional bartender, always on top of things. The customers were all regulars and incredibly friendly. The food looked amazing, and the atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and inviting. I’ll definitely have to try the food next time I visit.

Big Philly from the Keg in CR. It may not look like much but I’m telling you, the flavor was phenomenal! The gouda mac and cheese also did not disappoint ! Also really appreciate the NA beer options. Tracy was our server and she was friendly, bubbly, and provided amazing service! We will definitely be back!!

We were looking for a place to watch the Iowa State game and because they had both the Hawkeye AND the Cyclone flag flying outside we’d figure they would have the game on. Easy to find parking on the street. There was an outside side patio with a large TV but we decided to go inside. The game was on and we had a few beers and an appetizer (steak bites – pretty good). Server was great – very friendly and attentive. It’s a great corner, local sports bar. Seems like a place that probably has a good base of regulars.
