I had such a great time at Pierogi House! The stuffed cabbage rolls were incredibly delicious, and that tomato sauce is seriously something special
The pierogies also impressed me with their size (in the best way). They’re nice and big, so you eat just two and you’re already super full. I tried the potato and cheddar pierogies and the sweet cheese pierogies and both were soooo good . The sweet cheese ones are not overly sweet at all, which makes them the perfect light dessert. The pierogies and stuffed cabbage were so good that I even ordered extra to take home
We also tried a salmon dish from the dinner menu and the schnitzel and everything was so delicious that we forgot to take a photo because we ate it so quickly
Definitely coming back!

Nice little place, but I think it tries to be more than it is. I was here last year and it was pretty much a deli that made food. Now it’s trying to be this fancy Gourmet restaurant. But not quite pulling it off. The pierogi’s are good, well above average. But that’s the best thing here. I got the fish fry. They forgot our silverware. They don’t have drinks unless you buy a bottle. The charged me $1.50 for water after I told them I didn’t want to pay for a drink without refills. The fish was dry and barely breaded. It was more like bread crumbs sprinkled on top. The tartar sauce was just ok and you got this tiny cup that barely got me thru one piece of fish. The salad had a literal drizzle of dressing you barely noticed, I had to ask for a side. My friend got the crab cake dinner. She got one tiny silver dollar sized crab cake. Luckily she was not that hungry. So for $60 all said and done, we got 4 pierogi, a bottle of water and a bottle of iced tea. 2 pieces of dry fish, one crab cake and some lettuce.

The restaurant was open for only 5 days when we stopped. Phenomenal food and service. This fantastic eatery grew out of a highly successful Delicatessen at the same spot. Just 5 days into their new role as a sit down restaurant we were provided with some of the most Exquisite food I’ve ever experienced. The staff was attentive and Timely. Do not miss this experience it won’t be long and they will need to have reservations so many of us will want to be there.

This is a must try if you’re in or near the greater Cleveland area. Their food is amazing. Service is very good. And if your Eastern European it tastes like your grandmothers homemade cooking. This place deserves a 6 start rating and the staff deserves a 10.

We were visiting family and friends in town when the Pierogi House was recommended to us. We stopped for a late lunch and ordered the cabbage roll dinner with mashed potatoes and the pierogi dinner with kielbasa, grilled onions, and sauerkraut. The food was tasty, with very generous portions, all made from scratch! We also had the opportunity to chat with Oleg & Igor, the owners and chef, whose passion for providing quality food is obvious and heartfelt. We can’t wait to return to the Pierogi House on future visits to CLE!

The food was decent but still a bit underwhelming. The pierogis were the best dish on the menu by far. I had the beef stroganoff as well which definitely needed a bit more seasoning/flavor. I finished with the medovik for dessert which was a little less flavorful and a bit light on the honey. Would still go back for the pierogis though.

Staff was amazing. So helpful and patient. We got lots of pierogi. The two types of potatoe ones were our favorite followed by the sauerkraut. Definitely stop here for a bite if you get a chance.

Went for dinner as a table of 4. Everyone loved their meal! The beef stroganoff is amazing!! The best kind of comfort food. Sampled some of my friend’s chicken paprikash and that was outstanding too. Plus, you know the pierogi were on point. Perfectly fried to be crispy yet soft. The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely going back soon.

Can not say enough good about this gem. The food is amazing, has that authentic, (not inspired by) taste. Not to mention the management here is super nice. I had to deal with an issue with online ordering. That was of not fault mine or the restaurant (third party vendor) and Igor (assumed spelling) went above and beyond to be accommodating. He was super nice and even gave me a follow up phone to call to ask how the food was. The personal care to assure that their product and service were up to expectations is enough reason alone to be a return customer. But, the better reason is the food!
