Great first experience of this Bidon location in st Lambert. Walking in without reservation we where welcomed warmly and with a great smile. The service was great and enjoyed the experience. Food was incredible good. We started with some Rockefeller oysters and then with the help we had a good wine and great food. The desert options make us choose the crème brûlée à la pistachio. For sure we will come back and bring some friends.

Top notch eaterie. The burger was perfectly charred and the fries were just crisp enough.
The Caesar salad was interesting and delicious. Fish and chips are up there with the best of them.
Try some of their cocktails. You won’t be disappointed.
It was a bit noisy at lunchtime but quieted down as patrons went back to work.

A hidden gem in Saint Lambert. Upscale restaurant with good size portions. Amazing meal and would definitely recommend for any occasion. The hamburger patty well seasoned and thick. Great atmosphere and it’s a busy place on a Saturday night.

I was looking for something good to eat on the south shore. I ended up in St lambert and finally selected Bidon for dinner.
The place was somewhat busy but wasn’t packed. I found parking right in front of the restaurant. This was a good sign.
Dimly lit the restaurant had a rustic feel. Music was playing in the background. Little did I know that the ambiance was set for an epic meal which was about to begin.
We ordered: short ribs, crusted iceland cod and for the kids; chicken nuggets and burger and fries.
The short rib was so tender, and loaded with rich marbling and full of flavour. The chimichurri sauce and marinated shallots paired nicely with the beefy flavour of the short rib, adding a fresh and bright taste to the overall A+ dish. It was thoughtful of them to ensure the dish had a healthy starch and veggies (mashed sweet potatoes, and glazed carrots)
The aroma of the pine nut butter and burnt oranges infused well with the light flavour profile of the Iceland cod.
At first we didn’t expect this restaurant to cater to kids as the menu does not have a kids section. Fortunately we were wrong. They do have meal options for kids.
When most restaurants cook for kids, the food is bland and terrible. Not at Bidon.
The kids meals were actually very good!The burger was so moist and juicy. The chicken nuggets were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fries were crispy and lightly salted. The kids really enjoyed their meals.
The CHOCOLATE FONDANT with salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream was rich, luxurious, fat-filled, highly caloric and possibly downright bad for me. But it was sooo good.

Amazing Valentine’s Day dinner at Bidon. They were able to offer us great recommendations and detail oriented service. The food was delightful especially the scallop/duck appetizer which blew me away – the flavours complimented each other perfectly and the duck was so tender. The tartare was also really really good! They were attentive to give us an English speaking server, refill water constantly, and the atmosphere was also fitting for a special occasion. Would recommend!
