Very friendly staff. I showed up towards closing time but they still served me and didn’t take any shortcuts on food. It was a very good experience! They take a lot of pride in the food. The house made chili was delicious. I was told to try the loaded biscuits. It involves two halves of biscuit topped with hash browns, sausage egg and gravy. It left me very full and was delicious.

Went for breakfast. Lucky got a last table for 5. Had to wait a few minutes before getting the menu. Server was sweet. Portions were great, especially for price. I got the biscuit & gravy deluxe. Plate was so big I didn’t even finish it! I loved that it wasn’t overpowered by gravy. The French toast was delicious as well.

My daughter and I are from San Diego and we were looking for a good breakfast place. I googled best breakfast in Visalia and Granny’s popped up. It did not disappoint. My daughter ordered the french toast and I ordered Granny’s omelet. Both were delicious. Our waitress Nicole was so welcoming. It’s not just food that makes a place, it’s the service. Granny’s exceeds in both. We will be back!

The $20 burger meal I ordered from this place was horrible and not worth what they’re asking for. Please don’t come here if you’re in a mood for a classic delicious burger. You’ll be disappointed like I was. You’re better off elsewhere like In-N- Out or The Habbit. Look at my picture and you tell me if its worth paying for a burger this garbage and plain with no taste passion worthy of $20 like a high class burger in other burger restaurants. And the waitress acted smart and looked annoyed about me complaining about my food which I had the right.

Note* The picture is just half of what I ate because I asked to cut it in half.

Wow! I can’t get over how good the food was! I got the ribeye steak and eggs with the country taters. It was ALL so good! I came in fasted so I’m sure that helped make the food even better. But the steak was cooked and seasoned so well. I was impressed to say the least!

Great little country diner. We went for breakfast at 9:30 AM on a Saturday. We didn’t have to wait for table, but by the time we departed people were waiting to sit. Great food! Our server, Nicole was so nice and friendly!

SHORT VERSION:
Good breakfast, reasonable price, great place and service!

LONG VERSION:
This isn’t really somewhere you’re going to just stumble upon. The faded yellow building is tucked inconspicuously off the street. I almost missed it, even with GPS and a photo of the front to guide me.

Parking is available, if a bit awkward of a lot shoehorned around the restaurant.

But forget all that! This is somewhere worth finding, and the evidence i saw suggests a lot of folks make this their regular haunt.

The menu was short and focused on a half-dozen omelet varieties (and pick your own options too), but I went with my usual pancake combo to keep my first visit here on equal footing with the other breakfast places I’ve been. I’ll do an omelet next time (yes, there will be a next time).

The pancakes were large and fluffy, the eggs were done the way I asked for them, and the bacon was “real” (not those pre-cooked slivers so many places do), thick, and prepared crispy at my request. My only complaint might have been that there wasn’t enough syrup for the sponge-like pancakes, but that’s entirely on me, as they did offer to bring me more (there was plenty – I don’t like to drown my cakes because I can be a messy eater and I hate to get sticky in my beard).

The food came quick and tasted great. Price was reasonable too – less than $25 after tax and tip.

The diner itself is decorated in a rustic country way, but not so much do that it’s one of those cutesy theme places. And it was hopping while I was there! Full, but not crowded (parking too: there were spaces, but not many, because there were a lot of folks eating here). Despite the throngs of happy diners, there always seemed to be a table ready, thanks to the on-the-ball staff.

THE BOTTOM LINE:
I enjoyed it. I recommend it. I will be back (God willing)!

Didn’t expect much from this place at first. The scrambled eggs were made from powder but everything else was good, especially the pancakes. They were perfect!!! I’d go back just for the pancakes.

I love the food here, but ever since they hired a new server and i believe her name is Nicole. Shes not very friendly and has an attitude and she exsessively sweats and I don’t go to
Restaurants to over hear about talking about sex life or multiple partners . I Hope this changes after this post or I need to Find out her schedule so I come when she isn’t there.
