We’re not in Kansas Any more! But wow this place is worth going back to alone. Being from Seattle, we have decent vegan and vegetarian food options, but nothing with the heart and intention as this place. It’s clear the owner treats it as his craft, outlet for creativity and love. Absolutely amazing! We had the biscuits and gravy, everything bagel with vegan cashew spread, carrot cake and some espresso. All of it was amazing and felt made with love. Can’t wait to come back.

English muffins a DEFINITE must get, chocolate chip cookie simply Devine, these little cute cake type treats with caramel, orange and lemon icing have a different texture but omgoodness they are delicious with the carmelized bottom. Breakfast sandwich was more then I expected, they do not skimp on anything!! Last thing, gotta try the green mayo and fries which are my favorite now and will drive over an hour to get them again. Lastly, the young man who I believe was a manager was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Absolutely fire! This place always stands out every time I go. I got the cider and it was great it was warm and had the perfect flavor. The atmosphere is great to hang out and eat and drink. The food is absolutely top tier as well. The homemade bagels are to die for and there pastries always smack every time. I highly recommend checking this place out you will not be disappointed!

I really love these pastries, they’re called financiers, and they’re so good. Coffee was fantastic too, my hot latte had a great body, with a mild espresso. My husband’s iced latte was made with oat milk which complimented the roasty espresso flavor so well.

Hip small eatery just off of Lawrence’s main strip Mass Street. We had breakfast at Cellar Door and we were very satisfied.
I had a Sausage sandwich, which was a great combination of flavors – salty, spicy and sweet. It is not too spicy with the sweetness of the jam neutralizing it well. The muffin it came on is perfect.
My family had a breakfast bagel sandwich and an omelette sandwich and they passed with flying colors.
Cappuccino tasted great as well but it comes a little small.

So good I’ve been here the past three weekends in a row. The brunch biscuit sandwich is my go to (pictured is the spicy chicken sandwich, carrot cake, and fries)! The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food is incredible every single time.

Updating a previous review of Cellar Door. As always the vibes, coffee and food are second to none. I did want to add a photo of a special sandwich called the Hot Dip Chicken sandwich. I can easily say…with no hesitation, that this is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Fried chicken breast on a tasted bagel with hot, sweet peppers and pickled cabbage. Everything on this sandwich was perfect…texture, heat, sweetness. If you are within a 12 hour drive of Lawrence…..go there and try this sandwich.
