I’m writing this on my third visit in two weeks. I can’t get enough of this delicious food. It always reminds me of mom’s cooking where every sauce is made with care. The margaritas? To die for. The staff? Delivers excellent service every time. I recommend dining in and eating the food fresh.

More like 3.5 stars, just not a option. Good service and clean place. Tried to sample the most menu I could at one sitting. The fresh house fried tortilla chips and salsa were both really good. For my dinner I ordered 3 tacos: steak, ground beef and al pastor, which were a bit small on the fillings and were “ok”, for some reason the flavor just didn’t “pop”! I also tried the chicken milianasa cemita, again no real pronounced flavors from what I’ve experienced with other places doing this usually very tasty sandwich. There’s really nothing bad about this place, I just wasn’t that impressed.

Best Mexican food around. Great service and warm family atmosphere. Everything was phenomenal and still thinking about it days later. Chicken enchiladas and the chicharron & arabes tacos were some of the stand outs along with outstanding salsa. Looking forward to our next visit.

We drove from Winthrop Harbor passing many, many restaurants to get to Dona Paty’s. Food was great! Had a veggie burrito and I think I tasted butter in the mixture. Wow! Atmosphere was festive. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again. Highly recommend.

Everything here is homemade, DELICIOUS, and the staff are incredibly gracious and kind. They brought me the most amazing chips and tomatillo salsa while I waited for a pickup order. So happy to have found our new fav food place!! 100/10.

What an adorable new place. We have only been here once but the lunch was tasty and the service was swell. The food is very fresh and high quality. The tangy green tomatillo salsa and fresh chips are wonderful! Our table had chicken enchiladas and a steak huarache. They offer a lot of great looking breakfast treats that I can’t wait to go try. It is great to have another small independant restaurant in the area for breakfast and lunch!
