We stopped here on our way to Cheaha State Park. What a gem!
I had the hamburger steak covered with gravy and onions. It was delicious. My grandson’s girlfriend also had the hamburger steak. My grandson had had pork chops. He said they tasted like steak. “Best pork chops I’ve ever had!”
The inside was clean and very rustic. The inside ceiling was old rusty galvanized tin. Very cool interior.
We had two waitresses. One around 17+ and one was about maybe 6. The six-year-old came to table with an apron on and pad looking very professional. She took our drink orders.
Service overall was A++++.
My grandson actually paid for our meal, OMG!
As we were leaving, I asked to see the young one. She walked up and I said, “You forgot to get your tip.” I handed her a $5 and her eyes got BIG, and her mouth opened wide in amazement. So, I made someone’s day for $5. What a bargain. She will remember that day for years to come.
If I’m in that area again I will be stopping in for some good southern cooking and friendly smiles. And this time the catfish.

We ordered to go today. The jumbo chicken finger plates with fries were great! I walked in, was greeted immediately and ordered. It was fast & friendly service and as usual, delicious!

Nice little small town place. About $12 hot bar and drink at lunch. Fried fish hush puppies were good. Sadly if you come for dinner they do not have deserts off the menu. Nice server was very sweet.

The best ribeye’s and pork chops anywhere I know of. Small town restaurant with great small town service that will beat any big chain food place anywhere. Give it a try if your in the area. Well worth the 125 mile drive and we will do it again.
Just made another trip and it is under new management and ownership. Food is still just as good and the service was excellent. Prices seem to be the same or very close as in the past. Very pleasant and pleasing trip and looking forward to returning again.
Other than prices it is still the same. Even the prices are not bad at all for what you get.

The food was good. This is a good find for off the beaten path. The cook needs to pay attention to the orders the waitress took order correctly but the cook did not make the baked potato was given fries instead. Your food is cooked to order which was great!!! I had the catfish tenders(filets cut up) and husband had the pork chops(really thick but very juicy).

The food and service were good, the facility isn’t much to look at, and when you first walk in, the front area is a little alarming in its appearance. The dining area looked better and kinda small.

The burger wasn’t very hot, which disappointed me a little. I figured they waited on the other meal to be ready to serve us at the same time. But that little burger was very good and more than I should’ve eaten.

The cheesburger was delicious and my companions both got the fried catfish sandwich, one got fries and the other got a side salad. They both ate every bit and said it was very good. The place was recommended to us by a local man and he said he always got the porkchop and mashed potatoes. The sweet tea was very good too. The waitress was friendly and helpful, she had a bubbly attitude on this day. Our first time going so I don’t know if that is usual. The building lacked any interesting features and the inside appeared a little run down but clean. They only had one communal restroom. If we are ever in the area again and get hungry I’m sure we would eat there again.

Not much on atmosphere but that adds to the charm. Looking for a one of a kind restaurant this is the place. Open all day and the food seems reasonably priced and was tasty and hot. For a rural town with not many choices on dining out this was a welcome find.

This is my kids and I favorite restaurant. I can call it in and they would have it ready in no time. If we dined in, the staff is amazing and sweet. 10/10 recommend. They treat us like family every time the kids and I are in there. We love going to the Blue & White

Had an awesome dining experience there. Food was good but by far the best throng was the service. Peyton was our server and she was excellent and other staff checked in on us throughout our dining experience.
