The cashier/cook and the other cook were both nice but the food was horrible. I have eaten plenty of delicious shawerma’s from all over the country and in different countries and have never taste one so terrible. The presentation of this supposed Shawarma chicken/beef platter was also terrible. I should have gotten a refund after I looked at the meal, because I know shawarma’s dont look the way it was presented, but I wanted to keep an open mind on how it would taste. It seems the cooks used Fajita style chicken and beef they warmed up on the grill with no seasoning with loads of some kind of red sauce. It had lots of grilled bell peppers and onions. Definitely isn’t how a traditional shawarma looks (posted here)The name of the platter listed on the receipt is Feta”. Oh and by the way, there wasn’t any feta in this concoction they threw together. Also paid $21.99. instead of the $16.99 I thought i paid. The $16.99 was for the chicken/beef kabob platter (which wasnt bad) except the salad which comes with it was in a small like ketchup to go container.
If you’re looking for good Arabic (middle eastern) food, this is definitely not the place!

Me and my husband went here and let me tell u. 10 out of 10. My husband was happy cause he Muslim and didn’t have to ask the ingredients. highly recommend. Only reason I put a 4 on Atshmopshere because I stay cold and it was cool

The workers where really nice but the food was very mid! It really lacked flavor. The chicken was a bit tasty and that’s about it. For $14.99 I expected much more. The cucumber sauce wasn’t cucumber sauce at all which also didn’t let me enjoy this meal.

Lamb gyro was delicious! I’m a big fan of lamb and try gyros wherever I go—this one definitely hit the spot. The meat was flavorful and tender, and the pita was fresh. Service was friendly, and the place was clean (even the bathrooms, which is always a good sign). It’s family owned too, which I love supporting. Definitely worth a visit—give them a try!

This was a nice experience. The food was good. We got our order to go. I have always wanted to try grapeleaves. I was ok lol but we ordered lamb gyro, chicken gyro, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. It was 6 small onion rings but the gyros where loaded. Well will be back

Not a bad first experience. Despite being on the cooler side out, it was rather warm inside. Got a couple gyro sandwich combos. Not bad. Fries were decent and the pita was packed full of goodness! The meat didn’t taste authentic, but like it came frozen and then heated up. Flavor was great though.
Their platters and dinner dishes looked amazing, so will def have to give those a try in the future. Another customer got the lamb and was raving about it.

I’m big on middle eastern food but i was surprised when the food came out. The shawarma was sweet. No where course to what a shawarma is. Its cooked in a sweet sauce and the quality of chicken used was sub par. It took forever for the food to come out. We had ordered garlic bread as well and it was nothing more than the store bought frozen texas toast style of garlic bread. Place is way too overpriced and the quality of food doesnt match the pricing. Would not be coming back and would recommend to make the drive to sams greek cafe in oak grove.
