When we walked in, the restaurant felt cozy, inviting, and beautifully designed. The interior renovation is thoughtfully done, and the open kitchen adds a great sense of energy to the space. The open-flame oven is especially nice to see and really enhances the overall atmosphere. The hostess was warm and welcoming, which immediately set the tone for a great evening.
We ordered a few appetizers, including the mushroom on toast and the soup of the day, and both were excellent. The flavors were well balanced and thoughtfully prepared. The cocktail menu also stood out, with creative twists that made each drink feel unique rather than standard.
For our main course, we ordered the rockfish, which was very well prepared and cooked perfectly. It was clear that care and attention went into every dish. Chef Jessica Wilson has a very artistic approach to food, and it truly shows in both presentation and flavor.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would absolutely return. The only suggestion I would offer is to have a phone number available for the restaurant. Even if reservations aren’t accepted at this time, being able to call would add a more personal touch and make it easier to reach someone, especially for occasions like birthdays or special outings. Email works, but not knowing when a response might come back can be a little challenging.
That said, Grace is a lovely cozy restaurant with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a talented chef behind the menu. We’re glad we visited and look forward to coming back.
The menu shifts with the seasons, and you can feel that thoughtfulness in every dish. Ingredients taste vibrant and timely, like the chef is in conversation with the moment — pulling out the best of what’s available right now and presenting it in a way that is both inventive and comforting. It’s the kind of seasonal cooking that makes you excited to come back just to see what’s changed.
Service is gracious in that quiet, attentive way that makes you feel cared for rather than managed.
This is the rare kind of restaurant that feels like a discovery every time you visit — a place where you can appreciate the artistry of the environment, savor a meal rooted in the season, and still feel like you’re spending the evening at your coolest friend’s beautifully curated living room. Highly, highly recommended.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive without being overwhelming. They checked on me at the right times and made sure my drinks were always full and that I had everything I needed.
Speaking of drinks, they were excellent. Well-made, nicely balanced, and definitely a highlight of the visit. Whether you’re stopping in for a full meal or just drinks with friends, this place has a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy yourself.
Overall, the combination of great food, quality service, and amazing drinks made for a really enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat and unwind.
