Was walking by this restaurant in the Merle Hay Mall Food Court after having eating at Vietnam Cafe with the wife and kids. I was already very full, but their desserts and pastry display looked so delicious, I regained my appetite.

Both the owner and the chef/baker are very hospitable. They’re knowledgable and enthusiastic about sharing their cuisine. I have 3 young kids and they really enjoyed the Tulumba (small syrupy dessert pastry) and both flavors of Baklava (Pistachio & Walnut). My wife and I both love sweets, and these were all really high quality desserts. **check out the layers in that filo dough**

Had we not already been stuffed, we would’ve tried a Lamb Kebap. We all love lamb and don’t get to eat it enough. I spent some time in Germany years ago, and I tried every Döner Kebap I could get my hands on, so Im really excited to see how their Kebap Wraps are!!! If they’re anything like their baked goods, we’re in for a treat. Will edit this review and add pics after we return!

Thank you genteman for the delicious desserts and the hospitality. 5 STARS! This mall is hard to survive, even if you’re great, so GO GIVE THEM A SHOT ASAP!

FABULOUS! RUN don’t walk to Turkish Feast at Merle Hay Mall food court. We ordered 3 breakfasts and Turkish coffee. The flavors are amazing!

The small plastic containers are a mix of sweet and savory items including cheeses, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, honeycomb, fresh, maid cream, fresh made butter, Turkish, Nutella, Turkish bagels, and other pastries. You can get your “Ratatouille” on here tasting different things together. Mmmm!

The scrambled eggs were a mix of sausage, tomatoes, onions and fragrant spices. We were also given three Turkish teas and baklava on the house for dessert. Taking home to enjoy later – happily stuffed with everything else!!!

NOTE: Google said they open at 9am and we were here about 9:10, but the staff said they opened at 10. But no worries, he accommodated us and got all of our breakfast items going and out to us within about 20 to 25 minutes. Definitely worth the wait!!!

The owner and his staff were very kind and took the time to explain all the foods to us and how to eat them together. Honeycomb, cream and walnuts on the bagel…5 ✨s! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

I felt so lucky to snag some freshly made, still-warm baklava. It was absolutely better than any premade! Their brunch menu is seriously impressive, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming.

I recently visited this new Turkish spot in the mall, and I was really impressed. It’s a fast-food style place, but the food was excellent. I tried the burek and the Adana kebab, and both were delicious and very authentic. The flavors truly reminded me of Istanbul.
What made the experience even better was the owner. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about the customers. We had a great time. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Turkish flavors!

This was our first time. Very polite service. The food is OMG amazing. Especially for being in the mall this food is flavorful and well cooked. The menu was limited when we went but we will be back again to get more. This brings variety to the area and should be on your list to try.

Amazing, tasty food. Everything was seasoned so well – even the burger. We tried just about everything, including desserts! The owner is so kind too. Will be back…hopefully, they can find a new location while the mall is being rennovated.

Ate lunch here today and the food was amazing. Kebabs were wonderful, super flavorful wraps, and the guy working the front was so nice and welcoming and very helpful. He suggested some tasty items and helped my partner pick out what to eat. Went above and beyond to help us, I never expected this service in a food court. Ate food to fast, didn’t take pictures lol

Very good food! We had the chicken kebab, and it was amazing. We tried both the walnut and pistachio baklava, and it was the best you can find in Des Moines. They recently opened—if you haven’t been there yet, you should go!

I just found out about “Turkish Feast” today and immediately went there. I crave Turkish foods after living in Turkey many years and excited that we now have two Turkish choices for delicious food.

Absolute authenticity in everything I ate and more to take home! The entire staff was enthusiastic about their mall food location venture and eager to prepare just what you crave.

I had Adana kebap with rice and my fave shepherd salad with complementary Turkish tea and a piece of pistachio baklava. Everything I ate was like an explosion of delight in my mouth. Absolutely authentic right out out of the hands of Turks. I couldn’t have been a happier customer!

Not just authentic but a true array of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Try the pogaca and acma, bread you’ll love, with menamen, a main breakfast dish. You’ll be glad you ate at “Turkish Feast.” What’s more? It won’t kill your budget!

Great job, my new Turkish friends, I’ll see you soon for breakfast!
