Very disappointing experience. The food was extremely dry and lacked flavor — definitely not the kind of BBQ you’d expect from a place with “Texas” in its name. On top of that, the wait was way too long, even though the restaurant wasn’t that busy.
For the price and location, I expected something much better. It felt rushed and poorly prepared, and overall, it was not even close to the BBQ experience I was hoping for. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re absolutely out of options.

Damn good food and great service! This place is a great place to hang out, have a beverage and a delicious bite. It’s got great service and lots of good seating with plenty of places to charge your devices. Enjoy!

You pay a very high price for mediocre food and apathetic service. Took me 20 min to get an oder of 2-smoked-meat combo and the taste was average at best while it cost me a good buck. Cooks at the order point looked very unfriendly and reluctant to answer questions. The only part of the experince I liked was the decoration of the sitting area with brass pipes overhead. I’d recommend looking elswhere if you intend on enjoying your meal.

A surprisingly great place to eat real Texas BBQ at IAH between flights. We shared an excellent brisket and pulled pork plate. Good fries and coleslaw slaw, too. Comfortable seating and top-notch service by Aubrey. Skip the burger places and go straight here. We couldn’t believe our luck – real BBQ with a full bar with a plate that over-fed the two of us (we gorged) for less than 2 burgers at nearby places! Go here for comfort food, comfortable seating and personable service! We had fun and good memories!

I was ripped off $25 with their ponzi scheme where they offer you $20. When I talked to the manager about it, he was very unprofessional and rude, talking to me like an idiot. I have been traveling since four in the morning And maybe i’m not the sharpest I could be, but I do not appreciate being talked to that way. The coffee I ended up paying $30 for wasn’t even that good…

What a nice surprise. We were hungry, the smell caught our attention. We decide to take a risk, because brisket is alway a hit or miss.. but honestly this was the Best brisket I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

The Q Texas BBQ Smokehouse at the airport in Houston is a grand visual experience… amazing looing bar and the kitchen smells great as its right in the open in the corridor.. Nothing better than a cold beer for breakfast and really enjoyed the Brisket Breakfast sandwich.
