This place hasn’t changed in 40 years. Still has fantastic food with a real North fork local feel.
The breakfast special is a great deal. You get an egg sandwich, small or medium coffee, and an orange juice for about $7.25.

If I could give this Deli zero stars, I wouldn’t hesitate in a heartbeat.
Look at this sorry looking hero bread, lettuce, tomato and did I mention “Tuna” or lack of said Tuna!
It’s not like we haven’t been here before, we’re local folks, but unfortunately this tuna hero absolutely sucked.
If I wanted a lettuce tomato hero I would have asked for it.
I understand the economy is bad, and cutting back seems logical, but, charge more for a decent sandwich, don’t sell crap and expect return customers.
With that said, I would suggest buying a $1 dollar can of tuna and make your own sandwich. If you expect to receive good value for your money, you’re not going to find it here at this Deli.
So much for having lunch out and expecting it to be exceptional.

I stop in whenever passing through LI. Always good quality food and good portions too. Interesting deli options too. Posted the menu for others to see since they dont have paper or online copies available. Recommended! Thank you will be back!

The food is acceptable, but the portions are small. I recommend avoiding ordering eggs over easy right before 11:00, as the woman cooking tends to get upset due to her menopause. I won’t be returning, which is unfortunate because I’ve been going there since I was a child. However, I refuse to pay $26 for egg sandwiches only to receive the wrong order and an attitude.

We have enjoyed Meetinghouse for years.
Today was a disappointment. They were short staffed, and that was a factor for sure. I ordered two sandwiches, and they were made without the ordered tomato, and the lettuce was barely present.
Unfortunately, the portion of roast beef and turkey was about 1/3 less than it has been. What was there was very good, but without the side dill slice, it was lacking. Hopefully, the next time will be better. Everyone has a less than great day now and then.

An old school NY deli. The best sandwiches around. Good quick service with good prices. The coffee area is clean and organized. The staff is very nice and professional. A must go to deli here on Long Island.

Great! Went in to order a half dozen sandwiches and salads for a last minute, small party. They looked through and suggested to set up platter. They did a FANTASTIC job in no time at all and really made the day. The food was EXCELLENT and they could not have been any nicer or more accommodating. I don’t go in that often, so this was not special treatment for a constant customer. Just the way they do business.

Better than average hole local deli. Sandwiches and sides were great. Bought some steaks out of the butcher case that was very good. Its like an American bodega. Needs a better drink selection.

Stopped by this afternoon to get something quick to eat and ordered two heros. My hubby said it was the best Pastrami and Swiss melt he ever had and he’s had them everywhere. Given his family owned 3 delicatessens that’s quite a compliment coming from him. He’s been in the business close to 60 years. My Turkey and Swiss melt really hit the spot.

Friendly service with a smile. Great sandwiches! The coffee cakes have been a personal fav for decades! Has a little of everything including milk of you don’t want to make a trip into town. Service is usually pretty fast! Workers have a sense of urgency when helping.
