The food was good depending on what you ordered. The chicken was dry and the food cold. The waitress was by herself and did a good job trying to keep up where a man stayed behind the counter.

Please do not come here… I made the big mistake to not listen to the reviews… I spent around $115 and to be honest it’s the worst $115 I have spent
Chicken pad Thai- flavorless and dry
Pan fried chicken dumplings- the worst I have ever had it was so thick and no meat
Hot and sour soup – well that’s down the drain … it was so disgusting it wasn’t even eatable
Chicken fried rice was eatable and that’s the only reason why it’s even getting a start but would not eat it
Beef Udon is flavorless and nasty
To be honest please do yourself a favor and DO NOT spend your money here. I will never ever be getting food from here again, no flavor and dry and just overly priced for the quality of the food.

I love there’s vegetable rolls, so I decided to try some of their other dishes…BIG MISTAKE, I spend a little over $70 and we got OVER COOKED food that was dry and flavorless. We were super excited to finally try the food just to be let down. And I don’t think we are EVER going back.

1 general Tso chicken with fried rice
2 order of chicken wings
4 vegetable rolls

We ate some of the food, because we were hungry and also because $70 we spend all that money.

I’m gonna go back for the vegetable rolls, but never for the food!

(The two stars are for the vegetable rolls)

This is a weird Chinese restaurant. Dark and gloomy, the empty restaurant sits there with disinterested servers who stare at you out of the gloom. It is Kosher, and the kung pao chicken didn’t taste right and had none of the requisite heat. I had to ask the server for water and gave up asking for a beverage. She never asked after I disturbed her. We go and check out restaurants while we charge our electric vehicles nearby. We won’t be back here. The interior is odd. Using particle board as an interior decoration is bizarre. So, is stick on bricks that are not replaced or foam to keep out rodents. Or removing the untreated pine boards that are clearly getting mouldy from being wet with mops hitting them at floor level, night after night. Why is it still open? I am not sure.

Great sesame chicken. Fried rice. Egg drop wonton soup. Wontons were good but I’ve had better. But the real winner… Pastrami egg roll outta this world! And prices are relatively cheap for waiter service

Don’t eat from here unless you hate food.

For dramatic effect, I separated the meat from their respective containers so you can see how little meat they sold me. Each thing below was over $20.

1.
The container of chicken Szechuan was at least 90% carrots. You can literally see it in the photo. The box and whatever meat there was reeked of soggy carrot, with no trace of spiciness or pepperiness or oiliness. Just insulting to do this to a customer.

2.
The Sliced “Beef” with Garlic Sauce. If I claim to you good folks reading that it wasn’t beef, you’ll probably ask, “then what was it?” Heck if I know– But the beef literally had no beef!! No pink or red or any color suggestive of the food that you and I know and love which we call beef. It was just streaks of dough mixed with vegetables.

TL;DR: Avoid Eden Wok, New Rochelle & make your own Chinese food.

Stopped by when I was in town to pick up one of my kids in New Rochelle. I live in NJ. I knew the food from the city Edon Wok location was not great, but figured I’d support local kosher place and was hungry. It was 4:30pm so there was literally only one table taken. The rest of the restaurant was empty (as you’d expect at this time). I picked up a menu at the register and ordered a combination meal. Then I asked if I could just sit and eat (as opposed to sit in my car). He said “No. The combination platters are only To-Go.” Unreal to me that you wouldn’t want to make a good impression (for a $23 dollar chicken dish) on a new face who is spending at your restaurant. Now I’m sitting in my car eating it and there were literally 5 small pieces of chicken (otherwise filled with mushrooms) and a half size egg roll.

If this is what the local community likes, enjoy. I’ve not seen low service and food like this in Teaneck. This is bad.

Decent food with decent service. We had a family outing where are number of us came in around 12:30. It took them awhile to seat us and then we were served. I think our expectations were higher for a sit-down restaurant that was completely empty but in the end the food was tasty and portions were generous, nothing extra special or extravagant.

Gordon Ramsey please come and save this restaurant!!!!!
We came for the eat all you can and even though it was perfect because we just wanted something easy and quick, the place is run down. Not a lot of sushi options. I personally didn’t try the meat but some found it terrible. The chicken poppers were ok only because there was so much sauce.
In general the place feels run down, with an old smell, and the price was low.
Service was attentive and quick.
I personally think the food was ok (I am not very picky) like food I would perhaps cook at home if i wasn’t a very good cook.
I think they can do better.
