I recently visited Alondra Mexican Restaurant and had a great experience. The service was excellent—the staff was really friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
The food was delicious, though I didn’t get a chance to try everything I wanted. The drinks were good, though I found them to be a little on the weak side for my taste.
What I really loved was the atmosphere. We went on a Friday, and they had live music, which gave the place such a fun, energetic vibe. People were up dancing, and you could tell everyone was enjoying themselves.
The only downside was that the music was a little too loud at times, but it didn’t take away from the fun. I do wish they stayed open later because we were really getting into the groove when they started closing up, but I guess that’s common around here.
All in all, it was a great night, and I’d definitely go back!”

While in town for a concert, we needed a quick (but quality) dinner and got this recommendation. Ordered the Taco Combo with chicken, beef and shrimp and it was spot on. The recipe was authentic Mexican and the service was just as warm. Nice find!

Ordered from them about a month or so ago and thought it was some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Ordered a burrito today and it was god awful. My boyfriend ordered a torta and the bread was so hard and stale it was like a crouton. The veggies were nearly rotten. The rice in my burrito was rock hard, the fries were cold and wet. Uber eats refused to give me my money back so it was all a waste. I’m so disappointed

I was there on a Saturday with my husband and we order right away , 40 minutes passed and the food didn’t come out. We were told that we were next but there no estimated time. We left without eating . Very disappointed.

This place is absolutely beautiful but don’t waste your time ordering the sangria. The watermelon and green apple was very sweet you could see sugar at the bottom of the cup. We ordered the chicken and steak sandwich which was very forgettable. It lacked a lot of flavor to the point I had to put some of the salsa over the sandwich. The customer service was wonderful but unfortunately I would only come here if it was a free event because the vibe is cute I’m just not paying. I would come on a Wednesday for straight shots or straight Wine` don’t bother with mix drinks. Easy parking but park by the DMV better

I was excited to visit this place because I love a good taco Tuesday. However, we ordered street corn , guacamole, and steak, chicken and pork tacos. The guacamole was not bad maybe a little too much lime but whatever. The street corn was good could have been better if it wasn’t boiled. Lastly, the tacos was flavorless and it taste like all the meat was boiled. The server was nice, however it took us over 30 minutes to receive 3 tacos and it was only 2 customers inside. And we had to complain to get it and once we received them they were room temperature. I had high hopes but won’t be returning

Not recommending, chips of the salsa that was served to the table was stale, the wrap I ordered tasted off- I had one bite and refused to eat the rest. The fries gave me hope but they just made a few new ones to place on a batch of other fries that had been sitting out for a while. I debated in my head to complain but didn’t want to interrupt other diners. The waitress seen I didn’t touch my food and did not care to ask why or if I would of liked something else. I paid and left. If you are hungry go somewhere else, save your money, trust the reviews. Just saying.

The food is always made fresh, the portion sizes are great for the price, and the staff is very friendly and helpful if you have questions about the food. I literally ordered their food online without knowing they weren’t open, and the owner called me up and cooked me lunch anyway and brought it to the front door, telling me that she didn’t want me to not have the food I wanted, just because I didn’t know they were closed. This is the type of business we need to support to make this area thrive, and I’m happy to see downtown Middletown turn around and create an atmosphere that encourages a visit.
