A nice range of food items with specials. It’s delicious, solid portion sizes, and a good price point. The drinks pair well or on their own and the staff is friendly. It’s a relaxed atmosphere well suited for groups, dates, or solo. Mondays you can kick back and play Mario Kart.

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating at Dish this evening on a random date night and it was an absolutely amazing! Walking in you find linen tables and a very relaxing environment. Once seated the staff provided a great atmosphere with a good play list of music. The food is delicious and came out to our table in perfect timing increments allowing your palate to enjoy each plate’s individual flavors. I highly recommend Dish!

By far one of the best kitchens in the area, no question. Every single plate is inspired and it’s easy to see they take their work seriously. Besides the static menu they always have specials so there’s something new every time. I couldn’t recommend Dish enough

We decided to stop in at Dish after exploring some of the roof top bars downtown. We were intrigued by their artwork and offering of small plates. We sat at the bar and we’re glad we did ! The bartender was excellent keeping us involved with conversation and even introduced us to one of the local artists! The food was absolutely fabulous, honestly it was 10 times more than what we expected and we’ll be back very soon!

What a gem of a place. The friendly service by Olivia was great, and the food was a pure suprise of different tastes that’s had my taste buds dancing.
Dish specializes in small plates, with locally sourced ingredients. I love when I am told where the food is coming from. That adds to the food that I am enjoying. It puts a connection from the farm, to the chef to, my mouth.
I will do my best to drop into dish next time I am in Lynchburg. I would advise anyone to stop in. It will be worth your time and money.

To start, I have no idea what’s going on with the weird AI art in this place. It could be nice if they had even the slightest sense of what good decor is. But, that’s beside the point because the service is a joke. There were 3 people in here on a Saturday night at 8pm which should’ve told me something. My partner and I both ordered a drink and it took almost 45 minutes before someone came to check on us. We closed our tab and went to the Skyline at the Virginian for the most impeccable service we’ve had

Husband and I dined here for the first time on a Saturday night after making a 5pm reservation a month in advance. We were greeted by attentive and helpful staff, and our waitress (red hair) was able to walk us through the details of the menu and specials. We ordered calamari and chips and salsa to start and were given fresh complimentary bread and roasted-garlic olive oil. All the food came out on mismatched plate ware with some pieces even having chips in the porcelain. I understand the eclectic look they may be going for, but it ended up looking old and careless. Unfortunately, the bread was dough-y in the middle and bland. The calamari was lightly breaded and fried, but also bland in flavor. The chips appeared to be house made but fried either too long or in old oil as they came out very dark, very oily, and very bland as well. The salsa was fresh and tasted vibrant. We ended up asking for salt and were brought a salt shaker filled with flakey salt. It hardly escaped the holes of the shaker, causing us to look ridiculous as we vigorously shook the shaker, begging for salt to grace our food. We soon became uninterested in continuing with the appetizers as the work it took to get a flavorful bite outweighed the reward.
For our mains, we ordered a small plate of meatloaf over truffle mashed potatoes with morel mushrooms and a large plate of black sea bass and escargot served over a bed of purple rice and 4 asparagus stalks dressed with a butter sauce. Sounds amazing right? It could have been. But again, salt was severely missing. At this point, it sounds like we have a sodium deficiency with our salt complaints. But the reality is that salt helps to elevate the flavor of the ingredients, and that’s why it was a shame to make such spectacular ingredients taste one-note. The butter sauce on the sea bass dish in particular came out oily rather than rich. Our bill came out to about $75 including tip, which was fine because we came with the goal of tasting a ton of dishes using expensive ingredients. But paying $75 to have to salt my own food is just disgraceful and disappointing. Will not be returning unfortunately…
