We ate here on Monday Oct 13 having a house margarita and I had the beef enchiladas which were very good especially the sauce. My spouse had the carnitas street tacos they were excellent. Very nice place in an outdoor walking mall with shops, library and brewery all next door. Lots of outdoor space to keep children busy while you sit back and enjoy yourself.

Went for lunch today. My family’s meals were good..my taco salad on the other hand; well the flavor was good, but it was unappealing to have SO much watery juice leaking out of the taco salad. I had to put napkins on the plate to try and absorb it so that I could eat. I had no server to say anything to about it because she informed us when she dropped off our food that she was GOING TO TAKE HER BREAK and someone else would take over. However, nobody else took over and we had to ask a hostess for our check. Also, it was weird to be eating a chicken taco salad and find what appeared to be a hotdog inside the bottom. When I did say something about that, I was told that there is sausage in the beans that come in the salad ♀️

Amazing place I’m going to be honest! We even have a waitress that knows our exact order every time we come in! If she sees this-we order the arroz con pollo, one with a cheese enchilada and one with French fries and y’all’s hot sauce! And my mom orders the some type of taco lol-it starts with a B I believe. Amazing service! Gonna stop by today!!!

We dropped by after a morning of shopping and loved what we found. Not only was the food great, but we noticed something that truly impressed us. The owners were both present and working the day after Christmas, and I do mean working. These gentlemen were doing everything from greeting guests, cleaning tables, delivering food to tables, and working in the kitchen. David and Eduardo truly care about their business and it shows. They even have their mission statement in the front entry area.
Make sure you give them a try when you are out at Wire Park.

Lunch alone. Got 3 street tacos. Steak and chicken both fantastic. Tons of meat on them. Their spicy sauce was so tasty and almost overwhelming. Perfect for someone who likes spice like myself. In a cool place too bring the kids!

Edit 10/22/23: They updated their menu which apparently also meant updating their chips and salsa/dips. They now charge $5/dip when the guacamole dip used to be free with the chips. The new salsa is mediocre at best. The chips, as well as the tortillas, had a plastic/chemical after taste. We couldn’t even finish our meal. Not to mention, the entire menu is extremely pricey ($30 for 2 people and that was with ordering waters and no dips/appetizers). They also now have an 84 food score (down from 100 when I originally left my first review a few months ago). Unfortunately, today will probably be our last visit to Lalo’s. Very disappointing.
April 2023: Really not sure why there are so many negative reviews here. Mainly people complaining about a wait time (which is standard at good restaurants) or food pricing- these are not “real” complaints. My husband and I had a wonderful experience here! We arrived at 6pm on a Friday, walked in with no wait. There were SO many staff members, never had an issue with getting anything we needed (drinks, appetizer, bill, etc). Pricing seemed fair compared to other restaurants in the area. The vibe was really fun and swanky. Very clean, and they had a 100 food score which made me very comfortable knowing the food and kitchen were safe and clean! I ordered the chicken fajitas and it was such a huge portion, I had plenty to take home for leftovers. So good! We will definitely be back and will be bringing more people with us next time to enjoy the experience. We love supporting local! Also, check out that sunset that’s visible from the restaurant outdoor eating area! Can’t beat the views and location of this place.

Really nice place not far from home! We had burritos and all were good, size was perfect, some said it was the best they had!
Tacos were really good too.

The BEST Mexican restaurant in the area! The owners and staff are always so pleasant, the kitchen is fast, and the food is always fresh and over the top GREAT! They have outside seating and the inside is very inviting! Ava always goes up and above to make the experience genuine!
