Ordered half a hot sausage hoagie and they gave me this monstrosity of a sandwich. There is about 1/3 of a sausage (maybe) sliced thin into five 1/8” inch piece and smashed flat across the bun and covered in sauce. I actually thought there wasn’t any sausage on it all when I first bit into it.

EDIT: I want to update this just to spread the word. Get the Pierogie Pizza, add Ranch sauce (in addition to the white), add bacon, add shrimp; it will blow your mind. Just…heaven. It is Pittsburgh in a pizza.
EDIT 2: I decided to try the Pepperoni and Cheese rolls, just to do something different. Holy mother of god. I need someone to hold me while I cry and reevaluate my life, these are amazing. Not good cold or reheated though, so only get what you can eat in one sitting.
Excellent pizza, basta, and hoagies, BEST Pierogie pizza in Pittsburgh, hands down. If you are a ‘burgher, and want something far more “Pittsburgh” than Primanti’s I suggest getting their Pierogie pizza (though I get it with no onions and add bacon).
I moved into the area a bit over 2 years ago, and in the first two months I had no kitchen due to some contractor issues. I tried every pizza and delivery food joint in the area and this one was the best.
I still order them frequently for my weekly game nights, and every single time the pizzas are fully eaten with no leftovers (which is a bit sad), my friends love them.
Their pizza is actually a point of contention between my wife and I. She is a Quatro Pizza fan, where as I opt for Venice. While Quatro is excellent too their crust is painfully chewy for morning-after cold breakfast pizza, which is my favorite pizza.

The order was ready very quickly for takeout and the staff was awesome — very friendly and pleasant! The meatball pizza was superior to the pepperoni pizza in my opinion as the pepperoni was a bit thin and flimsy for my taste but the meatball topping was great. We also noticed for the pepperoni pizza that the toppings would fall off until the pizza cooled down a bit — this is actually rather normal for some places I have noticed, so maybe wait a few minutes before serving. The biggest strength of this pizza in my opinion is the robust and hearty sauce — it had a nice flavor that complemented the pizza very well while also not too abundant to take over the pizza. We also got an Italian sandwich, fried zucchini strips, and a gyro that were very good.

We were in Pittsburgh for a few days and wanted pizza delivered to our hotel. The pizza was delivered on time and it was really good. The sauce was more zesty than sweet which is the way I prefer it. They were fair with their toppings and everything tasted great!

On line order very easy to navigate. Good prices, very easy to customize your meal. Delivery was quick and the driver was nice and polite. We’ve tried several of the local pizza shops and Venice blew them out of the water they are now our go to pizza shop

Have ordered from here for years. Last order – both of our pizzas were burnt. As in black edges all the way around, cheese blackened and pepperoni so burnt we couldn’t initially tell what it was. I called and explained. The man on phone checked with a manager then came back and said we could either come pick up a new order or he would give us a credit for our next order. I opted for the credit as we didn’t have time to wait for new pizzas. He explained the credit would be on our file. I called a couple weeks later to order those pizzas and they refused, said there is no such credit, that is not their policy, and said I was lying. He also said it is impossible for them to have burnt pizzas. He was incredibly rude and condescending. Lost a long time customer. Their prices were always higher than most and their pizza is just ok but we always ordered here because it’s close and they had GF pizza. Guess it was time to move on anyway. Zero stars do not recommend.
