If you’re looking for a good sushi place in Scranton, Yume is definitely worth checking out.
We started with the jalapeño Tuna and the marinated salmon. Both were very good. The Tuna Tartare was our favorite item from the menu.
We also ordered a couple of sushi rolls and they were very good as well and the service was great!

The fish was absolutely delicious. The staff is extremely experienced, especially the chef. I was eavesdropping a separate customer’s conversation and heard he has been doing this for at least 12 years and probably more. The photos speak for themselves and the service was great.

We usually go to yume for sushi at dinner time but we randomly decided to try the lunch menu. It didn’t disappoint for the price point. I got lunch chicken hibachi while the husband had three sushi rolls. Both of the entrees were flavorful and fresh. No matter for lunch or dinner this is a good spot in Scranton to check out.

Outside seems to be a fine restaurant. Since you walk in, you will see an amazing atmosphere, clean, nice waitress, and a great cook. Food was delicious. If you passing near this location don’t hesitate to stop.

Man oh man .. where do I start with place 🙂 (johnnie) our waitress amazing down to earth friendly sweet, the atmosphere AMAZING !! Cleanest resturant in town ,, I love sushi and travel around enjoying it .. this place is #1 tried new food and it was all good .. I am definitely gonna be returning .. kani salad should be served in a bowl alone but that’s not going to overshine everything else.. Thank you so much !!

Staff were very nice and I did enjoy the onion soup. I had three types of sushi rolls, the sweet potato, cream cheese avocado, and the Philly. I’ve only had sushi and handful of other times, however the Philly roll tasted weird, but I figured it was just that they were made different at the time. I got home and started to feel sick to my stomach, and a couple hours later started throwing up. I didn’t have anything previous or after eating there. Please be careful while eating there.

BEST kept secret in the entire valley. If you’re looking for Amazing sushi this place is a Must! Surprisingly not very crowded. Everything is Fresh. The Yume roll is something just need to experience. Friends are always amazed every time we take them here

My boyfriend and I were visiting the area for the weekend and decided to check this place out for dinner and loved it. I’m from Philly and was impressed by how fresh the fish here was. We recommend getting the plum wine, clam miso soup, and of course the sushi rolls. My personal favorite roll was Summer Breeze. Highly recommend!! The staff here was very nice and we loved the ambiance.

This place was a nice surprise. We had great drinks enjoyed yummy appetizers (dumplings and edamame salad) and both hot hibachi meals and sushi/sashimi entrées. Super fresh and delicious. I would prefer less sauce on the hibachi meals as I’m sensitive to salt and sweet, and the sauce was somewhat overpowering. Nice evening with family.
