My husband and I had the Lobster Lover pot- each of us has enough for a second meal. The lemon garlic sauce was delicious. The restaurant itself is a charming addition to the boardwalk. We’re adding this to our list of favorites!

My husband and I decided to take an off-season trip to Ocean City. We were seriously hungry and headed to Ike’s for crab cakes. They were closed as were most Restaurant’s as it was off-season. We were thrilled to see that The Lobster Pot was open. We were greeted by Zino and promptly seated. The nautical decor was impressive as was the restaurant’s cleanliness. We ordered the Lobster Bisque to start and it was delicious complete with meaty pieces of Lobster!
We both ordered fried food platters and they were as expected. We were pleased. Zino our server was attentive and personable.
Prices were what we expected. It’s a shore town! I told Zino I was going to write a review and he made sure to spell his name! I hope I got it right. It’s a new business and I wish them much success. Thank you for being open and welcoming us hungry travelers! Next time Im getting a seafood boil!

LOVE this new boardwalk restaurant and HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The coastal/shipwreck atmosphere + decor fits perfectly with Jersey Shore and it was very well-maintained⚓️
The food was DELICIOUS – everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. We especially LOVED the California sushi roll!
The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable + NO WAIT for 2 people around 7:30pm on a Thursday night!

We had the seafood boil and although they overdid it a little with the butter, overall it was great. Cooked to perfection and there was so much food, we ended up taking some home and having enough for another meal. We also had the lobster bisque, which I must say unfortunately, was not the best. There was not a lot of flavoring to it, and basically tasted just like heavy cream. There was a bit of lobster in there but the cream was a bit overpowering. We ended up not getting our soup until we already had our meal because the waiter forgot. Overall the food was good and we would definitely visit again.

Tonight’s meal’s were phenomenal. Compliments to everyone working tonight. Yes the food is higher priced, but the portions are insane, no one left hungry in the slightest. The location….. you sit out and look at the water, it was gorgeous.
Now to the staff, tonight was my birthday and I can not thank my server enough for going above and beyond. You all were amazing, from the food to the service and dealing with the loads of request coming from my table, from the bottom of my heart thank you!
Everyone else should note…..they do this in off season their people were this amazing in the OFFSEASON, very much looking forward to coming back.

Edit: Went back to try the boil and wow that was so delicious! We did the OC boil with crab and shrimp and Cajun seasoning and everyone in the family loved it! I do wish there was a way to add on more crab though. The double was enough food for 6 of us, but ate through the crab first.

They have a large takeout counter for quick eats and drinks, as well as a large seating area through a doorway on the right.
Quick eats would be things like lobster rolls (available in many variations), fresh lemonades with optional extra flavorings, and fruit and milk tea boba.
Inside is a full service restaurant with fantastic seafood! Sushi is fresh and well made. The clam chowder and lobster bisque soups were fantastic. The lobster bisque they even added chunks of lobster on top!
The lobster roll was very good, though the lobster meat is more shredded than chunks, to make it fit on the sandwich better.
Haven’t had the seafood boil yet, but it looks really good and reasonably priced.
The seating and tables are all very nice, and the wait staff, though new, is doing their best to be amazing even as they work out some of the kinks being a new establishment.

Everyone was super friendly. The food was so good. We got the sushi, seafood boil, calamari and French fries. The only thing I can complain about is hiw cold it was inside the restaurant. Please turn thw heat up!!!

The summer of lobster rolls has come to a close and my family and I are not alone in seeing where the best $25-30 lobster rolls is sold. Firstly kudos to the owners for putting a massive amount of investment into this unique space. That being said the traditional lobster roll that we tested was a fail. Bun was barely grilled and buttered. Must have touched the grill for all of 3 seconds. First bite, shell. 2nd bite, SHELL. Sorry but at price quality of ingredients matters. If you are not cracking your own lobster, which I doubt you are, food service provides lobster meat at levels of quality and that includes ability to safely eat without shells. Moving on. Little to no mayo sauce, no chips, no pickle. So I hope that improvements are made for your second season, but it was a poor effort despite the strong branding offered by the remodel.

I live in OC 90% of the year and am always on the boardwalk. Ive seen this place open, but never went in. Well, today i was starving so in i went. The place is very nice and the food was amazing. Got for me the fish and chips. Large pieces of cod and perfectly fried. And the fries were awesome. My wife got the fried shrimp and she said that they were better than she gets at Ikes. Will definitely go back!!

OC Lobster Pot is a great new addition to the boardwalk. The interior is very fresh and nicely decorated like an old sea boat. The menu has a huge seafood selection, including fresh sushi. I’m personally not a seafood fan, so I ordered the chicken wings and the crispy chicken sandwich. The sandwich consisted of buttermilk fried chicken breast, pickles, lettuce, house mayo, and a side of french fries. The sandwich was good, but the wings weren’t the best. The wings had too much breading and weren’t lathered in sauce. They only gave a little container of sauce on the side. I won’t hold this against them too much, as this is a seafood restaurant and everyone seems to enjoy their seafood. The waiter was also very friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Ocean City is lacking high-quality seafood restaurants on the boardwalk, and this place has a lot of potential. I recommend dining here for a good sit-down seafood dinner on the boardwalk.
