Best and most flavorful spicy eggplant with chicken dish in town – we always order it with extra eggplant because they know how to cook it to perfection! Yummy pad thai and spring rolls. Great selecrion of Boba tea drinks. Serving sizes on all their dishes is perfect – we’ve ordered for straight pick-up/take out and we enjoy dining in, and their serving sizes are consistent

We love how they decorate the restaurant for every holiday and season – always festive ans fun, and their indoor collection of plants really add to the exotic oasis atmosphere.

Servers are attentive and there’s never a delay.

Great local place for excellent Thai dishes!

Oue recent experience reminded me why I dont spend my own money here and i love Thai food, just not this place. We received a gift card so decided to get takeout. We ended up spending $80+ $10 tip for takeout.

What you see in the photo is what cost $80.

Absolutely regret tipping because whoever packed it put the Garden Spring rolls on top of all the hot curry and ribs. They are meant to be served cold. So we tipped them to make bad food even worse.

The curry is flavorless and overpriced at $17/ea. We had yellow and green. Both with a miniscule portion of chicken. Probably less than 2oz per order.

Even with three entree orders we only got 1 serving of rice. Ended up having to make our own rice at home.

We wont return. Even if I ever get another gift card here ill just re-gift it to someone i don’t like.

We enjoyed Asparagus and snow peas a la carte. It,’s made with chicken and shrimp. Or you could have it vegetarian style or select your choice of protein.

And, we had Pad Thai with tofu. A popular dish …made with thin rice noodles, egg, onions, bean sprouts and crushed peanuts. Made with chicken and shrimp, or you can order it vegetarian-style or with your choice of protein. No MSG.
Then, we enjoyed a desert… Sweet sticky rice with mango’s. Delicious together. The rice is cooked warm coconut to enjoy together with the cut-up pieces of mango’s. Yum

We took our family visiting from North Carolina to the restaurant exotic Thai. They like Thai food and found it to be as good if not better than the one they had in Wilmington, North Carolina. Personally, the food is great. Service is wonderful in the atmosphere is just right.

Mixed feelings about this visit; Service was lacking and my understanding is it was intentional, and for that there is simply no excuse. So despite the quality food and atmosphere, service and overall rating will stand at 1 out of 5.

When I feel like curry for dinner, I go to Exotic Thai. Preferably the location off Kanan Road/Lindero Canyon though. This location, while much closer to home, has much lower quality standards.

At my most recent visit, I was served Tom Ka Gai with a chunk of ginger as big as my thumb, and the potatoes in my Karee Gai were undercooked and could have done with being sliced in half. The curry itself was unusually thin as well. My Pad Thai was a bit soggy (still reasonable though). My Pineapple Fried Rice had only a single shrimp. When I placed my order, the employee taking it kept trying to predict what I was saying (out loud) and thus I had to correct her three times.

Hopefully they correct course in the future, but they should definitely take notes from the excellent quality and service of the Kanan/Lindero location.

EDIT: I’ve come back twice since my initial review, and they have gotten worse. Ordered the pineapple fried rice, received it BURNT. Their prices are absurd enough on their own, but compound that with 0% QA and you’ve got nothing but a recipe for disaster. Sorry, y’all lost my business, and referrals, for good now.

We ordered drunken noodles, it was greasy and missing the flavor dish supposed to have. The quantity was not good either, not the typical american thai portions. Order was takeout. It had jalapenos for spice and no other flavour. Loved sab e lee in San Diego, i guess you cant find that authentic thai in TO. Tried the same in thai peruvian in Camarillo it was little better than this. Just stir fried vegetables and rice noodles.

I just picked up a yellow tofu curry to go. It was over $18 with no rice. Only had potato and tofu in it… Definitely OVER PRICED
