Tampa Goose 2013
My last visit was a little disappointing. The sides that we were served lacked flavor and had a very odd taste. Normally when we get our meals the side of green beans that come with them have smoked turkey in the green beans. The green beans we recieved did not have smoked turkey. They looked like unseasoned can green beans. The greens normally do not have meat, however they usually taste amazing. Not on this visit. They were not seasoned like they normally are when we get them.
Not sure if the last visit was just an off day, however very disappointed.

First and foremost, let me start off by saying it was such a pleasure to meet Mr. Bert and Ms. Deidra. The southern hospitality was beyond welcoming. Very demure. Very modest. Now on to my review. First, the flop definitely quenched my thirst. So much so I had four cups. Don’t judge me. LOL. My plate consists of ribs, the jalapeno cheddar sausage and all sides which included baked beans, collard greens, green beans, and macaroni and cheese. The ribs immediately fell off the bone. Very tasty and moist. However, as it sat and settled, it was noticeably a bit salty for me. Even though I don’t like spicy food, the jalapeno cheddar sausage was actually good. Grilled sausage is always good! All the sides given were awesome. The only thing I would say is the collard greens was salty. I added a little bit of sugar to balance it out. It was fresh and cooked to perfection. Before I forget, the sauce, I repeat the SAUCE completes the meat. My goodness! Make sure you get extra sauce because it’s that good. Definitely would recommend over and over again. Lastly, I will be visiting again. Hopefully, in time to grab a brisket sandwich.

Finally made it to get my brisket sandwich. Two words: Chef kiss. OMG! I LOVE IT!
The sides, good and fresh. For me, one serving is enough to make another 2-3 sandwiches.
I also got the fried shrimp and fries for my daughter. Don’t eat much fried food but it went well with the sauce. Grilled shrimp maybe? Nevermind me but I can taste it. Lol
Lastly, it was such a pleasure to see and converse with Ms. Deidra and Mr. Bert. Good ppl.
If you’re reading my review and have yet to visit them, make it a must to do. You won’t regret it!

Drove by and stopped on a whim. Super friendly staff. Brisket was delicious! I also enjoyed the green beans that have potato and turkey in them, and I loved that the collared greens were not overdressed so I could actually taste the vegetable. Very well done, I will be back

What in the world?! How do they have 4.9 ⭐️? The chef took my pulled pork out of a ziploc bag. I didn’t judge based off of that alone. I am judging based off of taste and look. If you know how old pork tastes and looks ….it was that. It didn’t have much flavor otherwise. The ribs were a little better but still not good. The mac n cheese was gritty/flavorless. The green beans were just salty. On the positive, the place looked clean (especially for a food truck). The people were nice. I did like the sauce (mustard/vinegar base). Most importantly the food was not fresh and not good. It was pricey which I do not mind at all if it is good bbq. I would not eat here again, ever. I would recommend Stationhouse bbq even though it is a much farther drive for me.

I stopped by The Mustard Seed BBQ Food Truck in Lutz. The bbq ribs, the chicken and brisket were the best I’ve had in a very long time. I was tender, juicy and topped with the perfect sauce that touched every taste bud and palates in my mouth.
The Mac & cheese and baked beans were really good. But them darn collard greens were the icing on the cake. They were cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned.

My husband and I revently visited Mustard Seed BBQ Tampa and we are so glad we did! We ordered the ribs, rib tips and chicken which were very delicious and juicy! My husband is from an area known for great BBQ so he knows good ribs! They have also added to their extensive menu.
The ribs were bbq’d just right being so tender you can eat off the bone. The BBQ sauce was amazing and the collard green and baked bean sides were scrumptious The owners Dee & Bert are very pleasant and all about southern hospitality! We highly recommend Mustard Seed BBQ Tampa for your next BBQ meal!

First off the atmosphere is amazing wonderful people service top flight. The food is beyond good. It’s beyond great seasoned and juicy the collard greens 10 out of 10 string beans 10 out of 10. I can’t wait to go back to try their other items. And the price is not bad at all!
