I was so hopeful for a locally owned sandwich shop in the heart of downtown. Unfortunately, our experience today wasn’t good and we couldn’t even eat the sandwich we ordered (a turkey and cheese sub). There was hardly any meat and what was there was very wet and slimy, the Mayo was runny, and the cheese tasted like Kraft in the wrapper (especially after accidentally being toasted?). On the plus side it was clean, the staff is very nice and they have a good selection of drinks, but as of 2 week open it’s not a place I would recommend.

The lady was nice, ordered a 10 inch Italian sub. I was expecting a good amount of meat on the sandwich. She put on about two slices of ham, two slices of salami and two slices of cheese. Super disappointing. I definitely get wayy better subs in Jersey.

The sandwiches was not good because the meat was cold cuts meat you get from hillside farm or Walmart great value. The bread was good but if you going to get a sandwich go to a place that’s have the real fresh cut deil meat like board heads or butterball or Sarahlee . Empanadas was ok the dough was fluffy and crunchy so that’s was good compared to the sandwiches.

I give it a 3 because i feel the sandwich could def have more meat on it. The empandas were good. I asked for no lettuce and they put it on, making the sandwich wet and not good for travel.
The empanada was big, made perfectly so 5 stars on that.
The place was very clean and professional. I would def go back but probably with more instruction, all and all i def see this as the best mom and pop sandwich shop in the mt pocono area.

Great spot! My experience here was amazing. From the friendly greeting to the food. Place is super clean, and food is made to order. Definitely recommend getting the TRIPLETA sandwich. Will be coming back when in the area

Wow. I didn’t expect this from this place. I tried the Tripleta sandwich, beef cheese, chorizo cheese empanadas.
Tripleta was really really good. Empanadas are extra stuffed and very very tasty. May be my new go to for awhile. I will try the Cuban next time.

We ordered a Sancocho a Cubano sandwich and a strawberry banana smoothie and it was AMAZING. Seasoning was great and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back. Really nice people and a clean place.
