It’s an okay place . The real star is Darren he made everything from the sugar knots to the garlic knot pizza. This place didn’t have any of that before. Honestly this place is a sinking ship and may close soon. It’s never busy like some pizza places in Long Island even in a Saturday when it should be busy.

Pizza was good. The woman behind the counter was friendly and my order was ready within 20 minutes which was great. I was appalled at the size of the garlic knots they gave me. They were bite sized, so go with a dozen if you plan on getting them.

nice people, but the food is pretty strange. i don’t like to bash small businesses, the pizza is just fine, knots are ok, but everything was ice cold despite picking it up exactly when they told me to, and there’s literally like a quarter inch of oil on this “chicken noodle soup” i ordered, which was actually chicken, rice, zuccini, peas, entire chunks of garlic??? cilantro?? (i like cilantro but ???) and oil soup? very bizarre, i really wish they just said they don’t have chicken noodle soup. all around just kinda odd, but again they were nice. maybe it was just an off night.

I started becoming familiar with Bernie’s amazing food not long after he first set up shop. I wandered in there one day to surprise my elderly mom with a pizza with black olives and fresh tomatoes. Halfway through her first slice, it was clear this was going to be “our” new pizza place. We eventually tried some of the Mexican specialties and she just raved about the food. Mom was my world (rest in peace 4 years ago) and it was my pure pleasure to treat her to her favorite foods. And Bernie’s was IT! I still pop in regularly for whatever I’m in the mood for. The food is top notch in quality and flavor. And you’d be hard pressed to find a friendlier, sweeter, and harder-working staff. And Bernie, himself? What an amazing, lovely human being. He pours love into every recipe and he shows that same love to his customers. I have never appreciated “chain” food places of any kind, and I’m on the particular side when it comes to “Mom and Pop shops.” I have never regretted a single order from Bernie’s, and I know I never will. If you haven’t already given them a chance, do not delay! From the moment you walk through their front door, you will know you are in a special place—and your taste buds, your stomach, and your mom (if you’ve been blessed with one like mine) will thank you!

First time customer here. The Staff is welcoming, attentive, friendly and helpful, it was as if we friends for ages! Danielle suggested the garlic knot slice, it was a 10/10! They cut us out slice of regular in half as we waited, which was not only so nice, but also so delicious, we had to order 2 more! Their sauce is the boss. Shout out to Dominic for handling our order!

Very reasonably priced, friendly staff, and excellent pizza. The sauce is clearly home made and the crust on the grandma slice was crisp yet light. Would highly recommend!

When I moved to the area a year ago, I tried Bernie’s because it was so close by. Turned out to be some of the best pizza I’ve had (this is coming from a life-long New Yorker!) The sauce is sweet, but not TOO sweet. The crust is delicious and has the perfect amount of crunch. Bernie’s never disappoints. To top it off, the employees and owner are some of the loviest people! They are always so kind and happy to be there. Deliveries are quick and the drivers are always so pleasant. I’m so happy I found this place! Definitely a small business I am proud to support and will continue to support. Much love for this place <3
