Took family here on a Saturday morning as the first couple of groups of customers. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
We ordered rack of ribs, brisket, chicken and chicken wings to share. Meats are moist and flavored nicely, not too salty, just right. Even my elderly parents enjoyed the meats. Kids also gaved thumbs up. Will come back again.

Going back for more punishment…
Very well apportioned bourbon selection. Ordered fish dinner with two sides. Fried fish was ok. Breading fell off due to wetness and was difficult to eat with fork but tasted ok. Unfortunately the fish juices soaked into the cornbread and permeated everything in the tray. Beans were congealed and luke warm. Coleslaw is bagged cabbage with “secret sauce”. I see other people satisfied and sometimes raving about the food. I just don’t see it…maybe it’s a perspective thing. Hope they do well here but Bourbon is going to be my only reason to visit.

Several visits later…
Great location and atmosphere. Staff is obviously inexperienced and not keenly interested in customer service. Food seems rushed and not much “love” for presentation or otherwise. I know it’s tough to get good staff everywhere…but I usually fault the process, not the people. Anyway, over several visits I had ok wings, overpriced wedge, Texas hot link was good, brisket sandwich was ok (not much brisket and needed sauce), just not really impressed. So I decided to try the Sun/Mon special ribs. I got these to go after having food there and watching football game. Opened the ribs later Sun night find rib jerky. I even tried rewarming and just total garbage for $45. In fairness I didn’t contact the restaurant to rectify but I was also heading to Logan Mon morning. I wish this place success but they’ll have to seriously up their game to keep repeat customers.

First time at the Chelmsford location. The space is clean and modern, lots of “personalized” accents that create a nice ambience. Food was ok. I ordered the”pit boss” with three meats and three sides. No complaints other than the burnt ends were pork belly instead of the brisket I was expecting, but I also didn’t ask when I ordered. Signature drinks are sugary but a decent bourbon selection.

Love Smoke Shop and taking the family. Our kids especially have come to love the brisket and pulled pork. Kids menu is far and away best options, price, and value for all ages.

Did the Big Beef Class with Andy and it exceeded already high expectations. Between the education and “how to” with the different types of smoking techniques, to eating delicious food, tasting whiskeys, and overall great conversations around BBQ it was truly a great experience. I’ll be looking to get into more classes as they come across! Big thanks to Andy and his team for great service, food, and a new hit spot in town.

We stopped in for the first time. We ordered the 3 meat combo ( smoked brisket, turkey, and. Ribs with 3 sides ( mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, and beans. Plus jalapeno links as a starter. They have a good selection of whiskeys and bourbon.
The links came out first and set expectations high. Then came the combo, the brisket was fall apart and moist and delicious. Brisket is my telling meat for me. The turkey was moist with a nice smoke flavor. The ribs usually an almost a guarantee at most BBQ places is where it fell down. The glaze was hard and almost burnt. One we got through the glaze the meat was good. I as a little disappointed in the ribs. All the sides were good and well prepared. We went in on a Tuesday and it wasn’t all that busy but service was sparse. I would have liked and extra bourbon if asked, plus getting our servers attention was also difficult. We’re undecided on a return visit.

We were excited to try out this new BBQ restaurant in our town. Making a reservation was easy online and the table was ready when we got there! Our waitress, Lauren, was great! Friendly and knowledgeable. We started with wings and mac and cheese balls, and both were awesome. Everyone loved their meals. The ribs were outstanding and the brisket was tender and delicious! The beans were spicy and the cornbread was super flavorful! We finished with a delicious dessert! We will definitely be back. We are BBQ snobs and this place was a pleasant surprise!!

Ordered pickup with coworkers for lunch, it would be great if things were labeled to make them easier to figure out whose order is whose. At the very least our item ordered as a gluten allergy should have been separated and labeled.

The menu said they have Mexican Sprite, our receipt says Mexican Sprite, and we received a standard can made in the US. Not okay to charge people $2.50 for something specific and then bait and switch.

Brisket is kinda dry but good bark. Brussel sprouts are VERY tangy, almost too much to eat alone. Overall just okay food, for the price I probably wouldn’t return.

Edit to add, finishing my brisket sandwich I had a bite that was so tough and dry I almost had to spit it out. It’s a shame to go through all the work of a beautiful bark and dry out a piece of meat. We ordered about an hour after opening so it should have been fresh.

Stopped in on a busy Friday night. We had a reservation, which I would recommend. Spacious interior with a variety of seating options, including tables and booths and bar seating. For our entrees, we enjoyed the burnt ends and St. Louis ribs with sides of coleslaw, potato salad, cucumber salad, and cornbread. All were delicious, and the portions are decent. Prices are reasonable, if not inexpensive. Service was good. Full bar available and clean restrooms.
Atmosphere was noisy but tolerable.

Probably the best BBQ spot I’ve been to in Massachusetts. Blows Smokey Bones and KC’s rib shack out of the water. First time here got the mac and cheese bites, then we followed up with the brisket, beans, and fries and my fiance got the pulled pork with potato salad and corn bread. The brisket and pulled pork were perfect. Both had lots of flavor and their sauces complimented them to a T. Sweet Victory was probably my favorite sauce, but Gold Medal was a close second which was more a typical Carolina mustard sauce. Plenty of flavor in all three. Hot Streaks was a solid 3rd, which would have been my favorite if not for the savory flavor provided by Sweet Victory and the tang of Gold Medal. Highly recommend any of the sides we had. Great atmosphere. Plenty of TVs to watch any game and a great drink selection. The staff is very knowledgeable with the food and drink menu. 10/10 recommend.

I was able to try out the Smoke Shop Chelmsford last night as a part of their soft opening, and it was beyond incredible! I used to work close by to their Seaport location and it was always at the top of my list for BBQ in the Boston area. So so glad to finally have their amazing food a little closer to home!!

Brian was our server and we felt like we were taken care of from the minute we walked in to the second we left. He walked us through their signature sauces on the table, provided great suggestions and was just awesome company overall. For an appetizer we had the mac and cheese bites and 6 original wings. I forgot how tasty the agave glaze is on their smoked wings, it was outstanding. The Mac and cheese was super cheesy and flavorful too.

For entrees I got the BBQ Fries appetizer with pulled pork added. My boyfriend got a pit boss plate with brisket, ribs, and pulled chicken, paired with coleslaw, more Mac and cheese, and cornbread. Everything was perfection! My fries were crispy and fresh, topped with the perfect blend of cheese and pork. ALL the meat was fall off the bone tender, with no exaggeration. Picked up a rib and half of it fell off just from the motion of lifting it off the tray. Incredible. Flavor was 10/10 all around.

I’ve been to the Smoke Shop many times, but tonight’s meal may have been the best Smoke Shop meal I’ve ever had. Everything we ate was tender, flavorful, fresh, and served quickly. I keep coming back for their flavors, they really take BBQ to the next level. It is so easy to crave Smoke Shop food because it’s just so damn good!

Even with last night being a soft open and training their staff, we had a full meal in just over an hour, and were super impressed with that! I am already looking forward to coming back again soon ☺️

I really really wanted to love this place with all the reviews I have read I have been seeing it on Uber eats and have been eager to try it! I finally had an overwhelming craving for barbecue! And was super excited to order. I got the pit boss because I really wanted to be able to try a couple different meats, I picked the burnt ends, the brisket, and the smoke turkey my sides were mac and cheese cornbread and brussel sprouts. Unfortunately the brisket and burnt ends were so dry and hard to eat! The turkey was a little more tender but also somewhat chewy! The Mac and cheese was very dry and lacking flavor and cheese the brussel sprouts and corn bread were decent the only thing worth eating oh and the ooey gooey cake those were the only things that were edible for me I was hoping that with the price you pay for this particular meal that the meat would have definitely been a way more on the tender side and the overall meal itself would be a lot better!
