This is the last stop my Wife and I made in Georgia. So glad we did! We saved the best for last! The staff is very friendly, and the BBQ is great! They serve huge portions, so go hungry, and eat LOTS! We may have to go back just for the BBQ. We loved the area. Comfortable and old timey building beside the rail road tracks. We watched the Norfolk and Southern pass! Really cool experience!

Honestly, I typically review when something is either really good or really bad. In this case, I’m sorry to say it was horrible. My friend and I agreed its the worst BBQ experience we have ever had. I don’t know how it’s rated 4 stars currently. I ordered the lunch special which was chopped barbecue (chopped pork), fries, and baked beans. The pork was like they took the whole pig and chopped it, fat and all. There was so much fat neither me or my friend could eat more than a few bites. Also, it didn’t taste good. Like meat with some kind of sauce. The baked beans were bad too. Like out of a can but they added some onions and a little meat. Tasted horrible. The fries weren’t bad, a little too greasy, and no salt. I asked if I could get something different because I didn’t like it. They were at least a pleasant staff. The second plate I got the ribs (pork), with fries again and fried squash. The ribs actually had a very tasty rub, however I could only eat 1 or 2 bites per rib because there was so much fat. Do people really eat this much fat? The fried squash has a weird taste. I couldn’t place it. Just didn’t like it. Their tea was decent, maybe just a tad too sweet but good.
My opinion, do not try this place, or at least not any pork, baked beans, or fried squash.

This is a great place to eat, they have a big variety of barbecue, seafood, and steaks, plus of course good salads and a great big piece of homemade cake. The best sweet tea.
Everything is prepared fresh, the food is awesome. The atmosphere is very friendly and family oriented. I have never had a problem with the service, they are always friendly, and pretty fast.

My wife and I had the catfish Baskets I had the catfish filet she had the whole catfish The baskets came with French fries and coleslaw
The coleslaw tasted of very good but was a little wet for my preference. Prices were pretty reasonable. The service was good especially since they were very short staffed

Ate there tonight, good food. I had the catfish, fried and coleslaw all were very good. The French fries are homemade, a deffinant plus. Prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and very fast to get your order to you. Seems to be a good place, try it.

This is a must go to stop if you live near by or get stationed on Fort Gordon. The atmosphere is very inviting, the people are sweet, the service was great and the food was excellent. Hush puppies are giant and delicious. The prices were on point as well for seafood and BBQ.

Great BBQ. Pulled pork and Hash/Rice were awesome. And, I also loved the slaw. If ordering To-Go, either call in or place your order inside and then pick up at the drive thru. Highly recommended.
