We love to visit Hood River, but came into town and weren’t in the mood for brew pub fare. Camp 1805 was intriguing and we’re so glad we chose it. Laid back atmosphere with great food and high quality, unique cocktails was just what we were looking for and we found it. The bartender, Aaron, was knowledgeable and engaging. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Camp is the only true cocktail bar in Hood River. They pretty much make everything in house aside from the maraschino cherries. They have a small distillery on site and the staff has been the same for the last couple of years, which is always challenging to do in the food and beverage industry and a testament to ownership and management.

The David Bowie and Aztec Ruins are personal favorites… as are the nachos and grilled cheese w/ tomato soup. If you can make it for happy hour, which runs until 6 PM (a true rarity these days) you’ll find most of the crowd favorite drinks and some of the best food items on the menu… and, they are not pared down nor skimped on.

Always fun to sit at the bar and watch some really beautiful drinks be made. Bottom line: really like the product, staff and location can’t be beat. Kudos.

Great stop after a few hours on the water learning my new found sport-wind surfing. The apps are great for sharing. Hummus dish was spot on- very tasteful. Cocktail reviews were mixed- I didn’t like my old fashion- taste just wasn’t there. That pineapple foam for the margarita stole the show- delicious. Food (Entree) was just ok. Really enjoyed apps and cocktails the most. Would give it a 2nd try.. really enjoyed the outdoor seating.

I’m fairly new to the area & we try to check out different spots on the weekends. We really wanted to try this place because the menu looked great, but we read a bunch of bad reviews with snarky comebacks from the owner…which kinda made me want to try it even more. And I’m sooooo glad we did!!!!
We were warmly greeted as we entered & seated immediately (not expected for a Friday night at prime dinner/drinks hour). We ordered drinks & our meals almost immediately after we finished reading the menu & it was delivered in standard timing (no long wait even though it was crowded). The non-alcoholic drink I ordered was refreshing & delicious (sorry I can’t remember which one it was!). Above all else, my Summer Poke & Rice Bowl was friggin’ DELICIOUS! Flavors were light & blended so well together! It was exactly what I wanted. And Tlthe waitress was so sweet after we were done, with the right amount of friendly & professional.
All around…I don’t know what the heck those other reviewers were smokin’ but I know we’ll definitely be back!

We came to camp 1805 on a hot afternoon a couple days ago. We had no wait for a table since we got there right when they opened. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, pork nachos, and a braised pork hoagie type thing. It was all pretty good food- I loved the fennel pollen on the brussels sprouts, and the pork was nice and smoky on the nachos. The drinks weren’t our favorite- something about the flavors didnt vibe the way we had hoped, but the quality was clearly there. I would recommend you pay a visit!

Popped in for a drink and snack. Our server was great. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing.
I tried to be adventurous and ordered an n/a cocktail. This drink was not made for me. Honestly, it smelled and tasted like lotion. But, it is described as being botanical, so it was as advertised. I’m just glad the glass wasn’t bigger than it was.
The cheese board had 4 nice white cheeses, crisp apple and lovely local honey.
This experience will create an everlasting memory and I will always chuckle when telling the story of my lotion drink!

Most of our food was good. the chicken wrap was delicious, as well as the poke bowl and chips and dip! Salads are huge. Caesar salad is not a normal tasting Caesar. It wasn’t palatable because it tasted like lemon zest only. We could not detect any other flavor in their Cesar dressing. Please keep this in mind before attempting to order a traditional Cesar salad. Enjoy

I love this place. I am a fan of delicious cocktails and this place has tons of tasty ones. I also enjoyed the poki nachos. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Don’t miss Happy Hour. I loved the Bitter Rascal which is the drink in the solo shot. We also enjoyed the Aztec Ruins and the Hibiscus Margarita. Wow my favorite drinks in Hood River

We didn’t know what we wanted to eat passing by all the waterfront restaurants and then we saw nachos— NACHOS! And landed on our spot. I only wish we were hungrier and added the meat! Even still, we had an amazing time packing these away. And the drinks were spectacular too. I had pineapple foam on mine and he had salt foam. I don’t pretend to understand what that is, but we liked it all the same.

AMAZING food, ambience and service. We are unclear why you were given a one star by a previous guest but your signs and website clearly indicate this is 21+. The lava cake with whiskey Carmel glaze was amazing.
Revising our review. We came back the next day and ordered the ribs, expedition chicken and pork nachos family style. We were later told that the chicken would not be ready for 45 mins so we switched it to the hummus plate. The waiter offered olives and almonds as an apology. He later came back to apologize that we got the wrong pork belly nacho order and had given us someone else’s order. When we asked for our dessert (we had pre-ordered when we sat), he notifies us later on that the kitchen ran out of the only dessert they offered the night before. Our experience the next day was such a let down considering it was hardly busy on a Sunday afternoon and we got there right as they opened.
