Everything was good. Was a little warm at first but the air popped on and all was perfect. Manicotti was good. Thick cheese, and the staff were very helpful. First time but will be back. I might could and should have skipped the cheese bread but it was good and everything made a good vacation dinner.

This was my first time coming to this restaurant. I was extremely excited because I had heard wonderful things. Immediately after sitting down, my friend leaned back in her chair. A waitress who was not even caring for our table came over and scolded her right after. We were then greeted with styrofoam cups while every other customer was given actual cups. I would not have been bothered by this if not for the fact the other cups were given to people who came in moments after we did. After the waitress had scolded my friend, she was on the brink of tears, so we asked to speak to the manager. We kindly explained what happened, and the manager basically excused their poor behavior for being busy that day. As someone who has previously worked in the food industry, no matter what the situation, this type of behavior is unacceptable. No matter the stress and circumstance, customers should always be treated respectfully. I will say, after basically being scolded by the manger for bringing up the situation, and the initial scold by the waitress, I believe that this restaurant is in need of new leadership and staff in order to be successful. Amore will not be receiving my business under its current management.

Came here this evening during the winter ice stormmageddon. I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t had a warm meal in days but this was THE BEST PASTA IVE EVER HAD IN OXFORD. The rolls were so soft and tasty and my Penne Alla Vodka pasta was just phenomenal. Will definitely be back here when oxfords back in full swing after this catastrophe. Just great, thank you.

It looked as if everything was thrown together, I ordered the lasagna and it was more tomato sauce than pasta. And I found this weird thing in the bottom of my dish. I’m upset. Will not be returning.

We started with calamari, Husband got the lobster ravioli which is chef’s special and I got the manicotti. The calamari lacked flavor completely which was so sad because the cuts were excellent! My husband’s dish was 4 ravioli’s that were medium size and they were difficult to swallow, I absolutely was disgusted with the flavor. My manicotti was delicious serving size was mid. The bread was just bread.

Stopes in here for dinner. We ordered the calamari and garlic cheese bread. Shortly after we order they brought those items out and wow. What a huge order of calamari. It was hit and tasted pretty good. They brought out cheese sticks I guess on accident and told her we ordered garlic bread. So that came out shortly after and it was ok. We ordered our food. Chicken Alfredo and chicken piccata for my wife. While we were waiting and enjoying our appetizers. The waitress brought out a basket of rolls too. They were soft and warm. We probably could have skipped the garlic bread had we known. I ordered an old fashion while we were waiting for our food. It never came. Once I got the waitress to come back and check in us I asked if they were still fixing the old fashion. She had forgotten. So I watched her make it at the bar. Basically I got a lot of simple syrup and maybe a shot of bourbon. Super sweet. Our food came out how and it looked good. My wife was picking at hers and she told me it was super salty and we noticed too that it has a ton of capers on it. The Alfredo was ok. Little salty and very very creamy cheesy. Waitress might have been having a bad night because it was difficult to get refills or ask her for anything.
Someone else ended up finally coming to the table to take my payment.

The food is truly incredible. The portions are large and the price is well worth it. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious, and even the free bread tasted like it had so much care put into it. Best Italian in Oxford. Come here!!
