Went for dinner last night and it was great, as always! We sat outside for the first time and it was just what we needed. We had the back area all to ourselves! Server was so nice and patient with us. I ordered the carne asada with steamed broccoli and rice. My two year old had the Mac n cheese and fries and I’m not too sure of the name of what my fiancé ordered…but he loved it and said the sauce served with it was just as great. I tried it and it was so good I kept dipping my carne asada in it! My son loved his Mac n cheese! And as for my dish, no complaints! Broccoli was tender but crisp and tasted delicious! Rice is always a favorite of mine here, never disappoints! Carne asada was great! Loved the grilled onion on top! I would say it may have been a little excessive with the onion but other than that, perfect! Will be back again soon.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in eastern NC! I am a big fan of Mexican cuisine and the quality of the food is excellent! Very clean restaurant and lots of attention to detail went into the decor and style of the dining room. Service was great as well! Highly recommend, especially if you love authentic tacos!

This is always my first choice for mexican in havelock. The place is well kept and nicely decorated. The tableside guacamole is a must when I go. I love that they offer margaritas togo with takeout!

All the dishes are great! The service is excellent, the atmosphere is very nice and THE MARGARITAS ARE THE BEST! I recommend LA MONTERREY MARGARITA, which has cucumber and cilantro.

The whole staff is friendly. The service is quick and attentive. The food is excellent. I recommend the Enchiladas de Carnitas and the Tableside Guacamole. Don’t forget to try the salsa bar! In response to the one-star review that says they prefer Patton: it’s basically the same group of people.
