I prefer their Neopolitan-style pizza, as their Detroit isn’t as heavyweight as at other spots. Calabrian chiles appear often as toppings, and the Hail Mary is great. But so is a classic pepperoni. Don’t miss the chicken caesar wrap or the tempura cauliflower.
You can make a flight out of any beers you choose. Recent favorites are the churro cream ale and the Narrow Seas Imperial Porter.
Beer spot only dont recommend the food
Food is fresh and delicious. Pizza was a bit oily but delicious. Kale Salad was fresh and refreshing.
Great for groups, kids, meetups, and casual hangouts.
There are big screen to watch sports/events.
They have tickles orders and payments as well as front desk.
I like the semi-open layout. Seating here operates on a first come, first serve basis. You can order and pay at the bar or via the QR codes at the table. Water is self serve, but it’s a nice filtered water machine. The food was really good!!!!! The only negative thing I had to say about the food side was regarding the brussel sprouts. They were cooked perfectly, but someone got a bit heavy handed with the salt on that dish. The flights were well proportioned and they had several solid beer choices.
With regards to service, the staff was helpful. It was pretty busy, but we still had someone pop over to help us with any questions regarding the menu, even though we couldn’t order through her.
Things went south with regards to speed of service. We arrived at 6:30pm, completed our order on the QR app around 6:50pm and didn’t get our first food item until about 8pm (our beers came out in a timely manner). We wanted to try a bunch of things, we ordered the Goat Cheese and pizza bread (server recommended), Brussel Sprouts, Kale Salad, Wings and 3 Pizzas for our group. To make a long story shorter, we didn’t get the majority of our food items until around 8:20pm and by 8:55pm we still had two items that hadn’t arrived. I’m relatively patient and my wife was a server in the past, so we under how things can get when it’s busy. My main problem was that people who came and sat after us were getting several of food items we had ordered brought out to them before we even had our first food dish. We got the items that didn’t arrive removed from my tab and the person helping with that was apologetic and made a kind gesture to make up for the gap in service.
Overall, this would have been an easy 5 star rating had things not gone the way they did.
For now, I would recommend this place to others. I’ll be giving them another shot and will make my finalized review based on my next experience, once the dust settles a little bit.
