Decent Chinese food spot in Aurora. Stopped by for lunch and tried the chili chicken dry… was pretty good. The fried rice however could use a makeover. Would return again for a quick fix.

The food here has been so consistently perfect for so many years. I have been to many restaurants, and they have cracked the code for the general tso’s chicken. It is perfectly crispy, and still delicious hours later. Their lunch specials are worth coming every day for, which was a bit over $9 I believe, with chicken fried rice and a pop or spring roll with your choice of stir fry. I believe the chef has been there all these years, and he is always kind. The staff work so hard. 10% off cash over $30

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The cashier had an extremely disrespectful attitude and showed no sense of professionalism or courtesy toward customers. Instead of providing friendly service, they acted rude and dismissive, making the entire visit very uncomfortable.
It’s disappointing to see such poor customer service, especially in a place that should value its guests. I hope the management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior, because no customer deserves to be treated this way. I definitely won’t be returning.

I thought that Empire Chef was the type of fast food restaurant that catered to non Asians. But I was so wrong and so pleasantly surprised!!! Not only was the lunch special pricing amazing, the shear weight of the takeout container made me smile. The food was delicious!!! I like Congee Queen type of food, and Empire Chef made me happy.

Wonderful mom and pop type shop. Extremely clean, friendly staff, and very quick. As a fellow chef I cannot recommend this place more. It was insanely fresh everything cooked to perfection and the staff were very happy to be working. You could tell they enjoy their jobs by the way they interact with fellow staff and their customers. If you want something quick and amazing try this place out 🙂
